I hate the IRS

The IRS requires an identity protection PIN number to efile. Extended tax returns are due today and the fricking IRS website where you get a PIN isn't working.

I also do an extension but got mine in earlier this week
Can you get in using last year's adjusted gross income? Mine is so simple that I use an online site to file, don't remember if that is to get into the online tax site or the IRS.

I do think collecting taxes at the point of sale/business is the general way it should be done. If the American people are to ever have any hope of getting the fiscally irresponsible federal government under control they will have to figure out a way to cut off the trillions of taxpayer dollars the government so freely wastes.

You're going to hate the mafia democrat gestapo version of the IRS a heck-of-lot more if America let's these Obama - Biden democrats back in power.
By Gestapo IRS I'm talking about those 87,000 Armed IRS Agents the democrats were training before President Trump 47 took office and stopped them.
Heck, they were even using a scheme to buy the ammunition they would need to arm these IRS Agents through various interagency purchases. They hid their scheme by spreading those purchases around through departments like Department of Education, Social Security, HUD.
Lord knows what these demons would have done had they succeeded in removing President Trump from office.
But guess what? They're back.

fwiw i hate the irs too. they banged me good this summer from errors on my 2023 return. i don't touch them, had a company do them for me for years. they dropped the ball but i was still on the hook for it
got a new guy a couple weeks ago, a friend of mine's boyfriend. he's kind of a big deal - at least one of his clients is a pro athlete that you would all know. he fixed all my issues and when i asked how much said this year's on me

I think That we should abolish income tax and just place a federal sales tax on everything. Including publicly traded securities.
