I find it hard to believe that progressives outnumber conservatives in our country at the moment.

It is impossible for me to fathom how people have such a hard time believing this. It's like people aren't paying attention to the world around them.

Generations of kids have grown up hearing nothing but leftist messaging since the day they're born. They hear it through school, entertainment, media, and (the biggest one) social media. Abrams and Warnock were advertising on Snapchat. They're not targeting adults with those ads. They're targeting kids. They're getting the democrat message out to future voters in a wide variety of platforms while their parents don't have a clue and Republicans continue to sit on their hands and try and discuss policy.

Democrats have been planting seeds in kids' heads on a damn near daily basis. Younger voters don't have the attention span to discuss economics, and they really don't care. They have been programmed and conditioned to vote blue no matter what, even if it is against their own self interest, for the "greater good."

Republicans need to come up with a way to counter this, and quickly, but it seems like 95% of Republican voters and politicians are completely blind to this reality.

And Republicans keep giving the left plenty to be angry about which has nothing to do with policy. It may energize some on the far right who are just filled with hatred of other people, but I think it does a lot more harm than good for them.

That's funny. Their lack of resolve on actual important social issues was why I left the Republican party and registered Independent.

I'm waiting for a party that will actually take up the Republican conservative mantle - fiscal AND social conservatism. Not 'corporate tax cuts & military interventionalism'

This is why we really need to fall back on voting rights to those with skin in the game. Letting a bunch of people vote to continue their freebies is listing the country to the left and any day now we will cease to exist as a nation.

Start local.

Those old boomer libs who grew up in the 60's that everyone hates are at council meetings, zoning meetings, they work the elections, and do these things while Republicans watch their talking heads on TV and plan on what new restaurant they'll support in their leisure time.

They outwork the right down in the trenches and have taken over the halls of tradition in this country, while we entertain ourselves.

Trump did expand our base. He needs to move on so that our next great leader can keep those gains of working class moderates and Hispanics but also bring back the suburban moms.

He did expand the base, but he also lost some women, some college educated white voters, and people in suburbs.

Reagan expanded the base probably more than any other President. Five years after he left office the GOP base was back to the size or smaller than it was before he was President.

It’s not just about expanding the base. Growing the base is a slow process, so you don’t piss off part of the base you alreadyhave.

DeSantis has expanded the base in Florida and kept part of Trumps base. Can the GOP spread it all through America without screwing up.

The problem will somebody that wants power try to make changes.

The base is growing just fine.

What isn't, is the participation of women and moderate Republican voters. Too many of them are leaving a Walker or a Trump behind, and either not voting or voting for the opposition, because of that level of distaste.

Like it or not, you have to win the Romney wing of the party everywhere, to win general elections nationwide with consistency. If you can't do that, it won't matter how much you make inroads elsewhere.

They have expanded their base significantly in the 2020 and 2022 elections. Huge increases in Hispanic, Asian and black votes for GOP candidates. Hard to combat a rigged elections apparatus, major media complex, and big tech information gatekeepers that are all on team DNC… with the exception of two entities (Fox and just recently, Twitter). Hard to beat the current DNC propaganda cartel.

And this is why Republican voters are retarded. Democrats NEVER do this. They hold their nose and vote for the candidate because they want to win.

Republicans staying at home and not voting in general elections because they don't like the candidate personally will guarantee democrats a win every time.

So what is your solution?

Well, they could actually try being constitutional conservatives, and get all those people who checked out because they say one thing and do another back. That might help.

Reagan also left us with an amnesty bill as his parting gift that this country is still paying for. He grew the democrat base way, way more than he grew the Republican base.

I don't know. I wish I did. I just know that the left dominates messaging for anyone age 5-25 or so.

The answer is for parents to be more involved, but that's asking a lot. Hopefully someone smarter than me can come up with a way to counterbalance the democrats. If kids only hear about how important voting is from democrats, who do you think they're going to vote for when they turn 18?

My real solution is to raise the voting age to 25 or 30, but that will never ever happen.

That's complete bs. The conservative women are way more vocal & out there stumping than the men are.

Yep. Those so far to the left they think Bernie Sanders is conservative vote blue right alongside the suburban white housewife that thinks banning abortion is taking away her agency.

Republicans? Won't vote for a guy, that is a pillar of the community, because he plowed a hooker 30 years ago.

And seniors will die off, and Millennials will grow. Tough to gaining young women. We picked up Hispanics, but mostly in FLA, and Central Americans. Not going to get the LGBTQs. College educated African Americans are a possibility, but doubtful.

We lost a lot of Indy voters this round...

Hard to find a demographic to grow...

Yes. Let’s shut down the white race. They never did anything for our country.
