Losing the Senate seat will suck. We are going to lose the Senate in NV, and then in GA because it wont really matter.
This realistically should have been 40 to 60 seats in the House.. We are going to have a 3 or 5 seat majority...

Trump has a much bigger ego.. he would not even recognize the primary loss, and run.. Hell, he may just run as a 3rd party anyway...

Small majority. Enough to hold hearings, and make some noise, but not much other than that. A 5 vote majority is hard to manage.
Look at it this way.. Dems leadership would like to tell AOC to shut up... But she pull 5 or so votes with her, and they lose.

Would he just be better off not fighting with DeSantis NOW, and just steel all the Thunder by creating his own party?
If you don't think so.. Do you see any way TRUMP accepts a loss to DeSantis in the Primary, and doesn't run as a 3rd. Why even have the fight?...
