Why do so many churches spend so much money in other countries when there are American children (white and black) suffering here? I’ve never understood this…Baptist and Methodist especially…the majority of their efforts are helping non-Americans. Whatever…as long as it’s your “flock’s” money and not mine…but still, just doesn’t make sense. Something tells me the governing bodies of these churches are tapped in to USAID and these NGOs, just like the Catholics. Which, when shown conclusively, will piss me off.

I don’t. This spring you should attend as many high school graduations as you can. You’ll see flags from all of the countries these kids supposedly fled, proudly displayed. They are stealing from the American taxpayers and have inherited an entitled mentality. Send them back. If they want to become Americans, they need to go through the process legally.

And they aren’t immigrants, they’re illegal aliens. Criminals (ALL of them, children included) the second they stepped foot on our land.

I can’t blame someone for wanting a better life.
They just wanted a better life when they murdered their parents, or the same for Susan Smith when she drowned her two little boys.
Now that is not in anyway an equation of moral equivalence, it's simply to point out the desire for a better personal life is not a valid excuse for criminality.
E.g., We can perhaps empathize with a mother who decides to make $800/d as an escort rather than $200/d as a HomeDepot employee to have a better life. But when she gets busted, loses custody of her kids, etc., the second thoughts are hers to own. Not mine. Not yours. She knew what she was doing. She knew the risks. She rolled the dice. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't.
The fact is, as with any country, there is a path to legal entry and US citizenship. That path exists for a reason. Someone "wanting a better life" can abide the path and achieve their goal. Or they can take a risk, roll the dice, circumvent the law, and attempt to better themselves in that way. That avenue comes with the understanding that if/when they are caught there will be consequences.

No, it's not. We happily approved billions in aid to the Northern Triangle alone for the last 7 decades, first to stave off commies, then to try to "improve" societies that cannot be improved but from within. We've repeatedly reauthorized bullshite like Temporary Protected Status for people that were hit with hurricanes that occurred 20 years ago. We've funded USAID and others to dump grain on poor countries, destroying their native markets and farmers. We went along with TPS for Haitians because... Haiti. We (R) shovel money at Puerto Rico, only to get blamed when they act like little San Pedro Sula and commit grift and political favoritism in aid distribution.
The better plan is displayed in Argentina with Milei, and El Salvador with their new leadership. But the people of Bolivia, Honduras, Brasil, Mexico, etc., keep voting for the same shite. So, not our problem. Why does nobody stop in Costa Rica and set up a barber shop? It's perfectly safe.

Awwww, well let’s stop doing what’s right because some pussy on a message board feels bad.

They have no chance here. Their parents are illiterate in the native language of their home countries and they can't read or write there. The kids are dumb as shite too.
How in the frick are they going to learn English and become somewhat successful?
Eternal bottom feeders cradle to grave. They don't even understand the concept of Jesus and God they are the reason why the Catholics invented the Sacraments.

I think the OP is simply trying to be compassionate towards the innocent kids. It’s not hard to feel for those children. What’s wrong with that? This is why society sucks. You can still believe in borders and security while also caring about a Child.

If you stop 100 people on the street and ask them if they “want a better life” for themselves and/or their children, I’m sure all of them will say yes. That’s not justification for illegally crossing borders, taking monthly handouts funded by unwitting taxpayers, and straining the educational system which struggles to educate these children.
We’ve sent millions, if not billions, of dollars to their countries to give them a better life. Why have they not done anything to improve life there? Why must they flood our country and drain our resources? Empathy is not an invitation to be used and abused by the entire planet.

As a Christian I feel bad as we are supposed to help
see....no we arent....no where in the bible does it say....go to far away lands that are poor compared to your area and bring them back to your country.
if you want to be a good Christian.... then help those with immediate needs in your town/area. if you really want to help those in the countries these immigrants are from....volunteer for missions to those countries, preach the word of god and provide them with education and skills that they can use to transform their country and further spread the gospel.
but you are not interested in that. instead you are interested in invoking the bible to use emotion to make people feel bad.

They know they’re here illegally. A country enforcing its laws is what it is.

Meh... Doing whats right is more important than feeling bad. That's what the progressives do, allow their emotions to guide them. We have to take care of this nation in order to help others.
America First.
