I get the irritation with the masks but not the outrage.

I don’t see much outrage from people who refuse to wear masks. They usually just don’t do it.

What rock are you living under? Lots of Karens out there who have to make a production when told to mask up or leave stores. Many videos of them throwing things from their cart, screaming. Also cases of “freedom warriors” threatening public health officials.
I guess if it’s not on Fox News it never happened.

That's a good point. I would add that a lot of people out in the public right now that have to be out, like at grocery stores and such were already voluntarily wearing them in March. So there's a school of thought there they do help prevent the spread of whoever is wearing to the other. So it's a common courtesy to our fellow man to wear it. I don't think there's been much evidence the mask is bad for people. So why not just suck it up, quit being a crybaby about it and wear it. I don't think it's a matter of the government wanting to boss you around and tell you you can't show off your handsome little face. They just want to do everything in their power to slow the spread regardless if the death rate is low.
