This is obvious, so quit being an emotional teat and do what needs to be done. Sometimes you have to vote against the worse candidate.

One day with that attitude you may lose your right to vote and wish you had voted.

BECAUSE HE WAS TOLD TO. No other reason.

Trump is the single most progressive republican in modern history.

pro gay marriage
anti war
big government spender
supports states rights to abortion
pro free speech
anti-surveillance state
etc.

You vote for the policies, not for the person's charisma or lack thereof, if that is your hang up. Whether you vote or not, the winner's policies are still gonna effect you.

Go vote for Trump and get some skin in the game man.

I get it. Voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil.

A fair and honest assessment.

I don't really want Nick Saban to be my best friend, but I would absolutely want him to coach my school's football team. Danny Hurley seems like a complete horse's arse. He can coach my school's basketball team anytime. Tony Vitello is kind of a douche-bag. But if Jay Johnson were to leave I wouldn't be upset to see him come to LSU.

You see, that is because I am an adult and capable of separating my opinion about someone from a personal standpoint from my opinion of them from a professional standpoint. Trump is not running to be my brother-in-law or bestest buddy. So my personal feelings about him are largely irrelevant. My vote is simply about can this guy do a good job as POTUS. I think he can.

It will remain so, absent a GOP landslide. Otherwise this will be written off as candidate weakness rather than "Democrats have given in to the progressives."

Winning a general election at the scale of modern America means the voting coalition is going to be making a shite ton of concessions. I certainly am not a huge fan of Trump's record on a number of issues important to me, but I realize how politics work and it is about having his administration in over Kamalas. Don't pretend there is a 3rd option. Stop being a bitch and vote for Trump.

You are right, but you are a coward to say the truth and not vote accordingly. There, I said it. Have a nice day.

You’ll obviously catch hell no matter what in this thread, but I personally think it’s a big deal you’ve come to this conclusion and I respect you for it.
