I am a principal in an elementary school and I had a 5th grader come up to me to tell me a joke. This isn't unusual because students love to tell me silly jokes. This one was not silly.

This student asked me:
Why did the mom name her baby Angel?
I said, I don't know, why? The student replied,
Because she had aborted her baby.

I could hardly speak, no matter what your views are on abortion, this is just a reminder of how sick this whole matter has become. That parents are actually talking to their elementary children about abortion and making jokes about it with them!

I went to my office and cried. I have never felt so helpless as a principal as I did today. This has me questioning how much longer I am going to be able to continue doing the work that I have dedicated my life to doing.

Stop the presses! A 5th grader liked a joke that shocked adults!

Mate, first off that last bit about having a cry in your office is cringe af and sounds like something Jen Psaki would say.

Secondly - we want you on that wall. We NEED you on that wall. Take a shot of whiskey (brush your teeth to remove all evidence), buck up and go make sure these kids are getting some wholesome education. Maybe find reason to fire a pink haired leftist teacher or two for kicks.

Sounds like you're one of the good ones out there still.

Keep the Faith.

Are you originally a female or a male on hormones?

It really is a cultural thing we have, in the name of tolerance, allowed to happen.

If you disbelieve in something, it is far past the time to fight. Stop worrying what people think about what you say . Attack it. Make yourself a hard target for their assortment of shame cudgels.

Your story is sad because kids don't know anything. They're told something is funny, they laugh. They don't get it at all. This is directly from their parents, of course.

I left teaching specifically for this reason. The whole public system, from school boards to the parents have morally collapsed and I couldn't stomach the corruption anymore. It's a farce and embarrassment what woke-ism and litigation has done to public schooling in this country.

But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. -2 Timothy 3:1-5

Which is why we need to defund public education.

I don't understand your response. You simply had to say "
That's not funny. It's actually quite inappropriate and classless. Be better."

Be honest, you liked the “joke,” didn’t you?

I'm sorry you had to experience that, but it's a sign of the times we live in. It is a complete and total rejection of God and His moral law.

It's sad. And, the effects of having no respect for life can be seen throughout society.

The left is disgusting. Quitting your important job won't change that, and it won't even protect you from these types of events.

Honestly, the right thing to have done would have been to politely put that kid in his place.

Yeah, I'd 100% pro life, but I told stupid abortion jokes when I was in middle school.

Really?!? You told abortion jokes in the 5th grade, to the extent that you actually remember telling those jokes?

I didn't even know what an abortion was when I was in the 5th grade.

A. Thanks to the left abortion is all the talk now. Kind of like all of the letters of the alphabet thanks to the likes of Disney so parents kind of have to talk about kids about these things now

B. How do you know a parent told the kid the joke

As an aside, how do you feel about CRT and all the other crap being pushed on schools these days?

Don't remember "dead baby" jokes?

You must have had prudish friends.
