Just curious how many posters are completely out of work at this time and who are able to adjust and work from home?

This might give some insight to how much economy is still in progress?

Please list which profession you are in...

thanks

Construction management,- home office, we're still running projects on existing jobs we had in progress before the virus. our clients are very much wanting us to continue

Local towns are still open on limited basis (for permits and inspections), have begun doing remote (video) inspections...

I am system admin of several cloud applications for my company...I have been working from home since Monday last week and have probably doubled my work output since I don't have to deal with idiots all day.

I had a whiteboard with about 25 projects I had hoped to get to this year. I have knocked 8 of them out in the last 2 weeks.

I'm actually at work. Had to come in just for today to check on things, pay bills, etc.

I oversee clinical research trials. Very busy at the moment...

Most of my teams are home based year-round, the biggest impact for most has been having additional people at home (children, spouses, etc.)

I was told I was essential. I didn't realize prior to this that browsing TD was so important to the welfare of the state.

I'm in consulting, a lot of colleagues have been told by their clients to go pencils down, but I'm still billing 9 hour days. No idea what the firm's utilization as a whole is actually like right now.

Had a call with the CEO last week who told us to keep our foot on the gas, that this is the most important initiative they have.

I can do most everything from home b/c I already worked a lot from home. I have been working since 9am, but the problem is I don't have much work to do right now. With courts closing, I mainly coordinate with clients about if they do/don't have to go to court.

Supply Chain Management for Pipeline. We’re still operating at 100%. Field is still working obviously but everyone else including me is working from home. This is my third week at home. I have a wife, a 3 year old and a 10 month all at home...and I don’t have an office here so I’m setup on the kitchen table. I’m not very productive at home. But it is nice seeing the kids more

Still working, but I hate these every day conference calls and daily reports. Company is micromanaging to the extreme to make sure we're actually doing things.

I'm someone who has always worked remotely. Most haven't, so they need to to be managed. I don't. This just slows me down to make extraneous notes to prepare for the daily call and prepare a daily report.

But grateful that I have a position that is still being paid, so I give them what they want.

Project manager on a DOTD project in Opelousas. Bring 3 workers with me everyday from Ellic, so I’m not social distancing at all.

We haven’t missed a lick except when it rains.

I’ve told them that if they show up to work with symptoms and don’t tell me, I’m leaving them on the side of the interstate and they’re fired.
