In terms of violent crime, you're 25-1 is probably a pretty solid estimate.

I live in Savannah. When I was in college (mid 2000's) we could go downtown and stay out in city market until 4am, having fun. Now, they close the squares down at midnight because it's so bad.
2 years ago, I had a friend come in from out of town. He got in an argument with a black guy and he thought it was nothing. One turned into 2, 2 to 4, before I knew it we had 10 guys following us to social from city market. We weren't even going there, but I had them duck into that bar because I knew what was about to happen. Once the sun goes down, you'll never catch me downtown at all anymore. Sad really.
It's no joke. I RARELY go down to that shite hole anymore.

Always pack if you are Caucasian. Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6. Stay out of areas where they live and congregate. Call me what you wish but reality is reality. Let them prey on each other. Where I live blacks, Latinos and us Cajuns get along just fine. It's mainly the bigger cities run by fricking DEMOCRATS.

Maybe maybe not. I always have my guard up regardless . My point is I have been living near Breaux Bridge for 6 years and have never seen black and white problems so far.
