In most States it is illegal to carry a firearm into an establishment where the sale of alcoholic beverages is the primary source of revenue. Some States have amended their laws to allow carry in these places as long as you are not drinking and remain sober. Reasoning = the possession of a firearm while intoxicated is felonious by it's (right or wrong is another topic).

It's more prudent with the way things are right now, in my opinion, for wypipo to be more situationally aware and realize that there is a designed fomenting of animosity and hatred towards them, and to act accordingly by not putting themselves into potentially dangerous scenarios. If I were planning to randomly attack a stranger, I would do it where I know that person would be vulnerable- and if you're intoxicated and unarmed, you're vulnerable.

We don't have to live this way. But for the moment it's something we must deal with, and that's just my opinion. Be a hard target. Those who prey on the weak will not attack someone who looks strong, aware and capable.
