So since the dawning of H sapiens, the global population of said species stayed the same, until about 10,000 years ago, and then began a meteoric rise? H sapiens also sat around for 300,000 years learning nothing, although having the same brain capacity as the guys depicted during early Biblical times, when knowledge mysteriously seemed to begin doubling every couple of generations.
Wow, what are the odds?

3 things, the beginning of farming, and discovering how to make use of metal.
Also, the ending of The Ice Age.

Like I said previously, just so amazing that H sapien (who has our same brain capacity) just sat around, not multiplying, for 300,000 years. Plus couldn't figure out the farming, metal thing until right about the time that Biblical documentation started. Just so oddly coincidental.
Its almost if man didnt really bother to learn anything, at all, for 300K years. Hard to believe that

I think it just became more necessary to find new ways to survive, as the Ice age ended, and the populations of people began growing rapidly. It wasn't as easy to find game and wild berries anymore. Also there were more people to share ideas and learn new things from.
There were no instant discoveries, but small ones over time that lead to new discoveries.
To me, that's what made the discovery of The Ice Man so incredible. His personal items were still with him, and he existed in the time of transition, from stone age, to civilized. He had a copper axe, but the rest of his tools and weapons were flint.
Most of his clothes were made of skins, but some items were made of woven grass, very nicely made. That indicates that they had learned how to weave, but not yet how to use wool, or make cloth.

It’s amazing the lengths people go to in order to reject their creator.
Haha. It's more amazing the lengths people will go to in order to "prove" their grandaddy was right about Jesus.
Ignoring well over half of recorded history being one such "length". The overwhelming majority of humans who ever lived never heard of "Jesus" or the Christian version of "God".
They followed other, equally valid, tribal religions.

It's amazing that even in your ridiculous worldview, you believe that for what, 5,000 years, apart from one tiny tribe of people, everybody else was a "pagan" who went to "Hell". How fricked up is that worldview? How ridiculous is that version of God?

I don't think that is what Robob is saying. I think he might be insinuating that aliens landed and gave us knowledge, and that inspired Religious Stories.

How many interpreters does it take to get one coherent sense out of all this garbage ya'll post?
It's like ya'll speak in fricking tongues.

If you have been reading here long enough, you find out there are different trains of thought, and beliefs, that come out in a thread like this.
Some people believe in Genesis, some people believe in evolution, Some believe in aliens landing and giving man fantastic new knowledge all at once.
Sorry that you can't comprehend.

The Natural History Museum in D.C. is spectacular. It has a lot of great exhibits and you can spend the whole day there. Probably deserves 2 days if you enjoy taking your time and really reading everything.
One of the best exhibits is a very comprehensive display of the evolution of our species. Its a must see for anyone interested in this subject.

What is there to comprehend? A 200000002334 pages long post full of indecipherable gibberish based off a teenager having a laugh on 4chan?

This thread is only 2 pages.
I don't know anything about that other thread. It doesn't interest me. This one does, that's why I'm posting in it.
I only post in threads that interest me.

To each his own. It doesn't bother me what anyone else believes in, as long as it doesn't harm others.

I know a guy.. he is a living breathing Neanderthal. Very nice, cool guy, super smart, and an excellent mechanic, considering that he is blind.
He looks like he walked off of the set of a cave man movie.
I knew a guy like that at NASA 40 years ago. Not much of a conversationalist but a brilliant mathematician and guidance engineer.
