‘Human Error’ Blamed After Every Voter Registration in NY County Turns to Democrat
New York voters in Long Island’s Nassau County were stunned last week after every one of them discovered they were Democrats — even those who aren’t.
On Tuesday, voters in the county received voter information cards by mail containing details about the upcoming primaries, including the assigned voting location and the eligible primary based on party enrollment.
However, according to WNBC-TV, in this Republican-leaning county, all voters were mistakenly marked as Democrats on the cards. The mistake affected approximately 500,000 voters, the outlet reported.
“We’re already starting to get phone calls from people, saying, ‘I’m a registered Republican, I’m a registered Conservative — how come I’m being identified as a Democrat? Who changed my registration?’ And they’re quite upset about it,” Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman told the outlet.
“There’s a lot of confusion, there’s a lot of people emotionally upset about this,” he said, CBS News added. “We believe that this is an error on the part of the mailing house that the Board of Elections used.”
“We have been assured that to the over 900,000 registered active voters in Nassau County, they will get the correct voter card this time,” Blakeman noted further.
WABC-TV reported that the printer, Phoenix Graphics of Rochester, issued an apology.
“Phoenix Graphics Inc. made a human error on Voter Information Cards for Nassau County. The voter’s party affiliation may have been incorrect on the first mailing however, polling site information is correct. We take responsibility for that. As soon as it was discovered, we moved immediately to remedy the situation,” the company said.
“This is an isolated event, but we apologize for our mistake, especially to Nassau County officials, who bear no responsibility for this problem. We have fixed the error and at no cost to taxpayers will deliver corrected Voter Information Cards as soon as possible,” the statement added.
However, many residents, especially Republicans, were not satisfied.
“That’s neglect, a company that’s sending out an important document like that? That’s not good,” Mineola resident Amura Dillon told a local outlet.
“I have no faith in this country today, regarding what the politics are. I’m going to vote Republican primary day, and Democrat on that is not going to affect it,” GOP voter George Klein told WNBC.
“It certainly seems to be inadvertent but feeds also public criticism about government officials — whether it’s competency, paranoia,” added Lawrence Levy, the Executive Dean of the National Center for Suburban Studies at Hofstra University, according to WNYW-TV.
Blakeman, however, dismissed any suggestion that the incident was intentional.
“I don’t think the Democratic Party is engaged in a conspiracy to create havoc in their own primaries,” he said. “I don’t think the Democratic Party wants a bunch of Republicans showing up to vote in their primaries.”
In a segment on Fox News’ “The Five” last week, co-host Greg Gutfeld explained that the political and media establishment’s treatment and characterization of former President Donald Trump lent itself to having a great deal of distrust in the country’s electoral processes.
“There was a point I made years ago, that if you have people saying that the country will not survive Trump then your moral duty is to cheat, right? You should cheat. Somebody is telling everybody that this person is a modern-day Hitler, it is your duty to do whatever is possible to stop him. In fact, if you actually play by the rules, you are a traitor,” he said.
“Now we are left and none of it is true. And then people make fun of people who are skeptical about an election? Why shouldn’t they be skeptical about an election when the DOJ, the FBI, the mainstream media, the tech companies, and the Chamber of Commerce are all in on the same thing? Why shouldn’t the election be called into question, right?” he added.

Easy fix: a conservative should run for the D nomination and everyone who got switched should vote for that candidate.

Weird how these errors 100% of the time go one way

I guess this type of error just started occurring right Ronbots? I mean nothing like this could’ve happened in 2020.

Who is the third party and what ties do they have to political parties, either officially or unofficially?

It’s not a bug, it’s a feature.

This allows a list to be generated of registered voters that a ballot can be printed for.
Anyone responding about their registration are removed from the mailing ballot list. All the rest are free votes available if needed on election night.
This takes the steal beyond harvesting dead or lazy Dem votes into also claiming the vote of dead or disengaged Republican voters.

Does it mean anything that these "mistakes" almost always benefit one party?

Who knows what frickery Democrats are up to.... no telling what this is about. I don't believe this was some mistake that has nothing to do with anything. It was part of something..... trying to hacking the system or setting up another part of their plan to rig an election.

Murica!! First-world problems, third-world elections! That should be this country's motto.
