Excellent summation. Lot of humor in the posts by both, but also a lot of cutting truth mixed in with pure troll bait to throw people off balance. I don't necessarily agree on subject at times, but appreciate the substance of their arguments, many times which, rightly, call into question the flippant, unsubstantiated posts by many who think regurgitated opinion means truth.

Good guys, both, and e-friends, absolutely. Would buy a beer for either or both.

I like the way that Displaced Buckeye always makes one think with more focus with his comments and questions. Well, maybe not always, but -- mostly. Sometimes? Nah, mostly.

Speaking for myself, I'm not really a thinker in the realm of current politics as much as I am a thinker with regard to forecasting the long-range consequences of historical trends and historical conditions. That's why my main theme here is my forecast that, as a consequence of the progress of World and US history, that the USA is doomed and will become subservient to some kind of world government entity in about 150 to 200 years. This world govt entity will be authoritarian, socialist internationalist and very, very secular and anti-Christian.

PS The time-frame for the USA would be much faster, but for the exceptional quality and strength of the Founders, Framers and other outstanding patriots who made the USA great.
