I looked up the results on the Sec of State website.

03/052A voted for St. George at a 100% clip.

1 YES to 0 NO

The precinct of actual size that voted the most for St. George was 03/022 at 73% YES.

340 YES to 127 NO

The most bitch arse precinct of substantial size was 03/049B at 68% NO.

It's interesting how the vote broke down with the areas closer to Baton Rouge voting NO. That good ol baw in 03/052A was deep in the heart of NO territory and said come and take it. This map lets you see who's suspect and who you can trust.

The irony is the area known as "Village St. George" (3/4, 3-40) voted against St. George.

So many old boomers in Oak Hills. These are the motherfrickers who bitched about speeding then got speed bumps and then bitched about speed bumps. If you can connect to them via NextDoor App they are constantly arguing about shite that you see shared on FaceBook. I can't wait for the boomer generation to die off.

I live in Oak Hills and there are a lot of people against it for some reason. However, they mostly seem to all be old. Angry old geisers that are short sided and get caught up on the “no new taxes” line

I can't help but laugh at some of the apartment complexes that were cut out.

Even stranger than that is that there's a huge house on Jones Creek that was left out, so it's an island as well. Info for the house comes up as belonging to the owners of a general contractor business. Must have pulled some strings...

Strings were pulled years ago to get this property inside the city limits. I forget the backstory, but it was a political deal.

This is why StG was closer than expected. Angry old fricks believe everything they hear and tried their best to sink the ship because God forbid they pay a penny more in taxes for the few years they have remaining. Absolutely no concern for the long term betterment of St. George. They bought Skip and Lipsey’s lies hook line and sinker.

But the property is not in any city limits. It's surrounded by the city of SG, but isn't incorporated. Are the Womacks politically connected to Bodi White or something? How does one go about getting excluded from a city that you live in? I noticed Baton Rouge did something similar for the Town Center development off Corporate blvd.

No it’s in Baton Rouge. Baton Rouge has a little strip of land that runs down Jones Creek Rd and to that house.

So they'll have to pay more in taxes? More taxes so you can get free shite in the form of public schooling?

Oh wow, that's some whacky stuff. The BR boundary goes down the street and then grabs their property. I wonder why they wanted to be included in BR?

Then they talk about gerrymandering.

The street to the servitude’s and that lot are in the City of BR, while they passed up other homes and businesses.

Associates Grocers is in St George but Mall of Louisiana isn’t?

Weird how jagged the Baton Rouge city limits are. They stopped annexing in the 1970s.

BR annexed a bunch of money making things when the first St George push happened. Specifically the Mall of LA, LSU, Siegen Marketplace. But left out all the neighborhoods around them. If that doesn’t show you what BR is about, nothing will

I was an early voter in 3-4 and voted yes. I wonder what this map would look like if early voting could be tabulated into the precinct mapping.

The apartment complexes were pulled out because during the first petition effort it was noted that there were huge blocks of signatures from them that were disqualified because the tennants were either registered to vote somewhere else, or not registered at all. Besides, it will be on the landlords if they wish to later annex in.

The house on Jones Creek annexed in to BR back in 1976 because he wanted fire protection for his insurance. SGFD was only a small volunteer department back then.
