I'm not sure you understand what wisdom is.

I blindly follow other's opinions? Please, enlighten me how my opinion in this is blind.

Perhaps, but Fulwar Skipwith was ready to go to war over the Republic until the US Army showed up in Baton Rouge.

I try and rely on everyone's intelligence...anyone's experiences.

I don't always, but that's all a part of becoming wiser.

And, for the record, I have never claimed to be wise. Others have brought that up. I will, however, continue to learn from experiences around me.

The US flag didn't exist solely to preserve the institution of slavery.

The Confederate flag did.

Nor did any of the Confederate Battle Flags.

You are sorely mistaken...and as you daily demonstrate, a total dumb-arse.

I, personally, am not disagreeing with you. I just think we should remove the platform, since the flag shouldn't be a big deal anyway

Yeah, the NFL "fans" thought that too.

The South is more than just those four years. Your just focusing on those four years to bolster your argument

No kidding. So why have a flag that represents just those 4 years and was created 30 years after they lost?

I love that this topic is all they seem to have now. Mueller is done. People are in massive retreat because of what is about to come out... and "we NEED the racial problems because we have nothing left..."

The American flag flew high over American Indian Genocide, slavery, Japanese internment camps, etc...

Wanna change it too?

Your own words:
quote:

I tend to rely on the wisdom of others around me.

If you had wisdom, you wouldn't need to "rely on the wisdom of others".

Not quite as many stars back then

slavery

But, under it, United we became

Japanese internment camps, etc...

Those were unfortunate but necessary during war.

I voted for Trump in 16' and will vote for him again in 20' and I am strongly against the current MS flag. This simply isn't a political party line issue.

The moment you stop relying on the wisdom of others you become a fool.

I dont particularly care either way. I like the magnolia flag because it is unique. The stennis flag is boring.

Side note, how does the Alabama state flag get a pass? I know nothing of the history of it, but to the casual observer it looks a lot like the confederate battle flag as well. Almost like it was an off shoot design that represented one of their regiments in the Civil war or something.

edited because I did not proof my typing/spelling

I really can’t imagine what it’s like going through life and caring so freakin much about an inanimate object

I’m not for it nor am I against it.. it literally has ZERO impact on my life either way. You, and people who think like you are fricking mental midgets if you get bent out of shape (in either direction) about this shite
