How much faith do you have in the average American Voter?

Either the Democrat or GOP party.

It seems to me that both sides intentionally insulate themselves from the other one. They are low information on purpose because they know that the other side might have a policy that benefits them, but they prefer the in-group of their friends and family.

It's become sports team support logic rather than real political debate.

I will say that both parties tend to antagonize the other to their own detriment. Democrats should never have hopped aboard the "hate whites" train. They still make up the majority of swing States and Democrats still need at least a solid 50 percent of them to get anything done in Congress.

Republicans should not try to belittle minorities. Getting angry at a group for voting one direction is understandable. But it can be overcome with good marketing. Try to find an effective solution to split their vote. Making fun of people doesn't make them like you, it only cements their disposition about you.

Not much...they vote straight tickets today more than ever and then after the election they don't keep up with what their elected officials are doing. They only pay attention during the elections.

And most voters are severely uneducated about ongoing issues.

How about Dems stop pandering to every single iota of identity politics?

This is some interesting mental gymnastics you're playing.

Very little. I even think there should be a competency test required before someone is allowed to vote...

Zero faith as the average voter is either dead yet still voting, comotose in a nursing home (also still voting), lives off government entitlements, works for the government, or depends on the government for their job but isn’t directly employed by the government. People dependent on said government will never vote to make it smaller.

None. I've had several people from my church ask me in the past who I'd recommend they'd vote for on their ballots because they don't follow politics. These are otherwise very smart people but are woefully uninformed about civics and current events.

Our republic was not set up with universal suffrage in mind.

Now that we have injected this feature into a system that it was not intended for, I really have my doubts as to whether or not the republic will survive it.

The American public assaults one another to save $20 on a microwave on Black Friday. Don’t have much faith in them.

How many people can't name 1 member of the Supreme Court?
How many people don't know which hemisphere Australia is in?
How many people would guess that Celsius was a Roman General?

Those people can vote.

That’s not even the whole map. There are picks in the US and Asia.

Humorously, there’s a lone dot in Texas that is actually near a town called Iraan, TX
