I am not a KA.

But I can imagine they are all changing. I don't know anything about KA ritual at all, but for our group, we were Judeo-Christian all inclusive and that wasn't even enough. Too many people potentially offended, so bi-laws changed just in case. No signif problems ever to speak of, but he lawyers involved in "risk management" made us look at our brother as either an asset or a liability. Weak-minded people empowered by lawyers have ruined so many great institutions that made America great.

OVC is no more. It has merged with another.

I didn’t know that. I went to a couple of National Jamborees, and our patches were among the most highly sought-after. I remember getting into an argument with a yankee because he insisted that our council was pronounced “Ew-Wa-Chitta.”

Is Comanche Lodge still a thing?

Vigil member here.

Well, I was.

Fond memories. Good times.

Should've clarified.... Oklahoma. Twin Mounds district. And I was tapped out when tapping out left you with sore shoulders for a week before they went to the feather bullshite.

Our Ordeal weekends were absolute hell, and would have made a Marine Master Sergeant smile.

Yea Comanche Lodge is still there.

OVC merged with another to form Louisiana Purchase Council.

And you are right, our patches were some of the most highly sought after on jamborees. They were beautiful.

Shh, you two are not suppose to talk about it.

Not from a B'ham Troop; but one real close to Camp Indian Valley.

Are you KA?

I wonder about the KAs and how they are doing with their spiritual founder, RE Lee.

I'm a KA and I'm not sure I want to know what's become of my beloved Order now.

I'm not, but I did get an invite to the KA graduation party at McNeese University several years ago. Absolutely insane beach party theme. They trucked in so much sand, it was a foot deep on the entire first floor. I think they made me eat a couple of live goldfish.

No but I have many friends that are KA. I was however a member of another Greek.

As a member of a rival fraternity, we came into possession of a prized painting of the Southern Gentleman from the KA chapter house and kept it secured in the bowels of our frat house where it probably remains to this day.

We would bring out ole Bob as we called him on late night parties.

I lived across the street from them, remembering losing snowball fights and having draws with bottle rocket wars ( can't really win those just shoot until you run out).

I did throw a pig's foot necklace on top of their house once.
