I don’t care about politics whatsoever. There is one party in America, and it is the corporatist party. The differences between right and left exist only in social bullshite that is largely irrelevant to most of us.

I’ve always paid close attention even when I was a young kid. 9/11 was a pretty shocking event when I was a 5th grader, so it felt important to pay attention.

I’m involved with multiple local political groups and have volunteered on a few campaigns.

I’m 28 and didn’t really follow politics that much until the past four years or so. I literally despise liberals and liberal policies with a passion.

Not sure it matters. None of the elected officials represent the middle class anymore. It's all special interests and corporations. Meanwhile we fight amongst ourselves.

I don’t really care to follow politics, specifically, but I do like to keep up with the whole collapse of western civilization thing that’s been going on… so sometimes politics is a part of that

I never cared or paid attention until…well, I still don’t give a shite and I’m 41. Buncha bat shite crazy individuals that care about politics more than themselves and own families.

I was conservative mostly due to being in the car with Rush at my dad’s behest for most of the 90s.

I had a bit of a Ron Paul revolution against republicans in the late 2000s. Didn’t pay much attention for most of my 20s and early 30s. Voted almost every primary/general but skipped plenty.

The first year that the government decided it needed 20%+ of my pay check I started paying a lot of attention.

ETA: I don’t make my kids listen to or talk politics like my parents did. Occasionally if I think there’s a really good point or something interesting on a podcast I’ll let my 15 year old listen. It’s spurred some good conversations. He’s an independent thinker and that’s all I ask. He doesn’t have to vote like me.

I followed very, very closely anything relating to politics until this last presidential election.

Now politics and the news are dead to me. I couldn’t care less.

I pay attention in a certain sense. Mainly, I recognize that neither party represents my interest and are both in the pockets of the elite, foreign and domestic.

Politics has infiltrated everyone’s lives. It’s everywhere. You won’t be able to discard it much longer if you are because of the globalist takeover. The next 10 years are going to be very tumultuous

I’ll be 33 in March and I’m pretty open minded when it comes to politics. When there’s an issue, I try to look at the perceptive from both sides and I form my own opinion on said issues without CNN or Fox News telling me how I should feel. However, I try to keep away from political conversations.

I probably care less with each passing year. Was pretty into it in my early 20s but I don’t really invest anything into it now. Only way I know what political shite is going on day to day is when I see thread titles on here.

I went the other way. Stopped paying attention sometime after I hit 40. It’s been nice. Relaxing.

I used to really get into politics, but the older I’ve gotten the more I want to move further away.

I’ve come to the assumption both sides lie through their teeth and will say or do whatever it takes to gain power. It’s a constant game of tug of war and it’s truly shocking to me how many people slurp up everything these politicians say and the mental gymnastics they have to go though to not see the hypocrisy in both sides. It seems like having a healthy discussion or debate isn’t even possible any more and everyone just wants to reaffirm their confirmation biases.

I can’t even imagine letting politics dominate my life or the people who put party over country. It was disappointing seeing so many liberals rejoice in people losing their jobs during the pandemic just because a republican was in the White House. It was also disappointing seeing cities burn to the ground all summer in 2020 from the left which was then followed by the idiocy of some Trump supporters on Jan. 6.

Politics seem to be bringing out the worst in people so I’m trying to move further and further away from all the negativity and focus on the good in the world.

At 30 and I hardly talk politics at all. Chat with some buddies at golf and have been told I have some Libertarian Conservative views. Guess that kind of explains it.

On a local level, I'm a member of an advisory committee to the park board. In doing that, holy hell, why anyone chooses politics as a career is beyond me.
