Seems like strident camps are already forming and fans of each person are already digging in and making their declarations of not voting for the other should he be the nominee.
How many of you DeSantis fans will not vote for Trump? Even if DeSantis doesn’t run?

If this board is any reliable cross section of the general public then I would say don't underestimate the ability of the "only Trumpers" to be completely childish.

I will reserve the right to vote for the best man for the job and for America. Last time, I thought it was Trump.
Right now, I think that man is DeSantis. I'd like to see new blood and a younger man in office, especially when he is as well qualified as DeSantis is. And, unlike many others, I'm going to be very suspicious of nasty rumor and innuendos that seem to appear out of the woodwork.

I am not saying I will not vote for Trump despite my great dislike for him at this point.
He is still better than any Dem and I would hold my nose and vote for him a 3rd time if I had to.
But I would hate for him to win the nomination and I know he would lose by quite a lot.
Desantis by any objective and logical measure is the better choice. Anyone that prefers Trump over him is just a really really dumb person.

I’m a Trump fan and will vote for DeSantis if Trump is out of the running.
But tell me this……….if it’s not Trump and it’s not DeSantis, then who’s a viable potential candidate who has the America First mindset?

It will be a pretty brutal fight but in the end the average Republican voter will support the nominee.
Sadly, what is also true is that the big money and DC establishment that is behind Desantis will not under any circumstances support Trump. They would prefer any Democrat over Trump.
That is the problem with the Republican Party and the biggest reason to support Trump over Desantis in my opinion.
