Can you link this testimony? I've only been able to find interviews where cops repeatedly asked other inmates if they saw Sandra Bland smoking weed in her cell. No one did.

No offense, but when I see “racial disparities,” I immediately tune out. The data is irrefutable that there is a very clear reason for those disparities. How about fixing that problem instead of deflecting everything onto law enforcement.
Also, this article is simply a plea for more wasteful government spending. It’s already been shown that continuing to throw money at it solves nothing. In fact, it’s become much worse since 2020 and the BLM that you seem to be calling for.

Well… for starters the link to the data above proves that a disproportionate amount of crime/murder by race is committed across this country. This data is only collected when the perpetrator of the crimes are solved. 63% of all violent crimes nationally go unsolved. With 40% of murder going unsolved. This data suggests that the distribution by race is disproportionately much much higher. (Inner city unsolved murders are typically much higher then 40%; with some inner cities only solving 15% of homicides)
This data alone suggest that interaction with police per race is higher for certain races per population distribution solely because that race population is committing a disproportionate amount of the crimes.
If a population per race is committing a higher percentage of the crimes, interaction with police would thus higher. It would be fair to assume there would be a higher deadly interaction with police. The data proves otherwise. There is an estimated 1,000,000 interactions with police that requires force or threat of force across all races. (estimated total 50 million police interactions) Of that in 2024; 1173 resulted in a fatality. Of 1173 fatalities 225 happened to be of the race you brought up.
So of the1,000,000 police interactions across all races only 0.0223% of interaction with blacks end in deadly force. Are you really sure there is a problem with deadly force in the country? The data proves otherwise .
This is the FBI data. No emotion or feelings here.
