How does the media walk back their Bernie criticisms when he wins nomination?

You know they will have to hold him up as the one hope to unseat Hitler 2.0.
Trying to think up some sort of Stalingrad analogy now.

They won't walk back anything they will just act like it never happened like the blackface and the actual sexual assaults.

He will not get the nomination.

They won't.
It will be Trump lite
"Yeah...we shite all over you during the campaign, but we can make or break you so you will just have to smile and take it."
The question is: Will Bernie play ball or say "frick off" like Trump?

So the MSM hates Trump and strongly dislike Bernie.
Trump loathes the MSM and Bernie thinks they were in Hillary’s pocket and screwed him.
Are we inadvertently going to force the media to scrutinize both candidates going into an election for once and potentially lessen the slant in their coverage? That might be one of the best outcomes of this election cycle; unfiltered investigative journalism on both candidates because both hate the MSM.

Ignore it and go back to proclaiming Trump as a nazi

He's gonna sweep most of the country in primary. Will be quite tough to deny him. Wouldn't be surprised if he won S. Carolina.

If they let him win the nomination, they will have to embrace socialism. The alternative it to frick him over again which could drive Bernie’s millennial followers to Trump, as they’ve threatened many times.
The only real political option the have is to try to maintain some kind of never-Bernie faction within the party and wait him out. They have to quietly primary AOC and other socialists without alienating the millennials who support them.
In short, they are pretty screwed.

They don't have to walk back anything. They just start immediately supporting him as if their criticism never happened. Theyre very dishonest people.

Sort of like Fox and Trump if we’re being honest here.

They will actively support the Dem candidate, even Bernie. They’ll point to the size and enthusiasm of his rally crowds (regardless of what reality is) and tell us that Bernie might say some crazy things but that’s why we have checks and balances in our government; none of his wilder ideas will pass. They’ll point to some of the less extreme views and say those represent the “real” Bernie.

Unlike conservatives, democrats aren’t bound by ideology. They are loosely connected on certain overlapping issues, but they coalesce around their hatred for conservatives. They will rally around Bernie.

They will promote him as having a good VP. Some black woman politician from Cleveland is the front runner. He said AOC will be high in his cabinet not VP because she isn't 35.

This x1000
They have absolutely no concern for consistency. It's the reason why they called McCain, Romney, and Bolton the worst human beings to walk the planet then praised them as Patriots when it suited them.

They will not rally around him. They will somewhat seem like it when he goes against trump but once he gets in office and causing them to lose congressional seats etc they will blame him and the Bernie Bros ....as they should.
They also will blame the moderates for running 5 candidates and letting bernie take the nom

First response nails it.

They flip flopped on Barr like 7 times in the last couple weeks. And not by announcing it, rather just thoughtlessly segueing back and forth like a world with absolutely no memory.
I have no clue where they stand on him currently.

Pundits have backed themselves into a corner with the mathematics of delegate counting. Political crystal balls are forecasting a Sanders delegate count not securing the nomination headed into the Convention. Chaos will ensue.
