re: How did you hear about the attack in Utah?

I was walking out of my last period class for theday then a student came up to me that I’ve never seen before at school and I said Coach you’re never gonna believe what just happened.

I had spent the day away from TV and my phone. It was maybe around 5 pm I went to X and saw something about Charlie Kirks's assassin. I thought wait, what? Went to Breitbart and it had the bold red headlines saying Kirk was dead. I was stunned, still kinda numb. I'm an old guy but I watched him a lot. Loved his influence among college age kids. He may be irreplaceable.

The OT, saw the headline and then it exploded.

Funny (in context) side note, a guy I work with called me saying that the Pentagon had just been hit by a plane!! I was like no way!! Not again! So I checked here, X, turned on the radio...nothing.

We tend to get busy and are away from phone or radio. so I kinda get it, but damn.

Idiot came back from doing whatever & apparently tuned into a radio REPLAY of the attacks from 2001. Because that's a thing radio and TV does, of course.




For a good minute, I was about to go nuclear. smdh.

My Dad sent me a text, then I came here.

Heard the breaking news of the shooting on the Scoot show while driving in the car. (I know).

Got the unconfirmed then confirmed word of the death where I get most of my news, on Tigerdroppings.

I was checking out random fishing videos on IG and a "RIP Charlie" reel popped up. I thought for sure it was total bullshite so I came here.

I'm still in shock. I'm still hurting. I'm still very angry.

I heard about it here. I was about to get on a work call and was browsing here.

I didn’t watch the video until this morning. I’m not sure I would have been able to get on the call if I had seen the video right before.
