Firstly, be sure you’re reading me correctly insofar as I’m not personally defending the way it went down. You’re asking for any possible reason(s) why the guy wasn’t shot, and I provided at least something to chew on. Secondly, pay even closer attention to the full picture of what I was saying, the very critical and much-discussed concept of critical split second discretionary decisions police must sometimes make in chaotic situations being the most important factor in the scenario I speculated on.

I have no answer for the reason he was not severely perforated by 9mm and .45 inch holes, but I can say definitively that I'm happy he is alive, unharmed, and thus probably able to answer a few simple questions regarding how he came up with this cockamamie scheme and whether he did it all on his own.
There have GOT to be other hands involved. The attempts to assassinate our president are becoming at least an annual occurrence at this point. Whether it's fomented and supported by people within our government or by foreign actors is the only real question that remains to be answered.
Find every single individual who was involved in this latest attempt no matter how remotely related and throw the book at them with the maximum sentence allowable by law to be imposed. I'll gladly provide extra tax dollars for the proper rope and lumber to build gallows on the National Mall.
It's time we made a pubic spectacle of those who seek to destroy our constitutional republic in a very brutal and graphic manner.

How the frick do you actually shoot a Secret Service agent and fire off a couple more rounds and not get severally perforated?
Maybe the agent was hit by another agent (friendly fire)

Weird how the last few seconds of that video suddenly clear up in quality.

Assuming you correctly answer "no," then tell us what the rules of engagement are for Secret Service agents.
Specifically, under such circumstances, are they instructed to "kill" or to "deter and apprehend"?
Thanks.

No way to be sure until video is released from another angle, but it looked like he was tackled right past the initial security.
He didn't look like an athlete, but he was streaking past security!!! Lol
Quick feet!

Little known fact believe it or not, the human head produces red, white and blue mist when blown to shite.

Every round discharged in a crowded room is a potential "stray bullet." Some could even pass through the assailant. If the assailant is within a closed area with multiple law enforcement officials present, it is much safer and more professional to tackle him (or her).
It could also be that the agent that got him was so close that he decided it was safer and faster to slam into him than draw and fire.
Rather than trying to evaluate a safe shot on a moving target in traffic.

It seems Grok has those two photos backwards.....the blurry shot is indoors....the clear shot is outdoors and sunny.

Guy with guns, running at officers and attempting to get to president AND SHOOTING OTHER OFFICERS IN THE frickING CHEST, seems like a good time to take out a motherfricker
Youre a fricking idiot if you dont think they had reason to return fire
