Back in my late teens I had an extended stay in Colorado and I felt it was no different than when I lived in southern Mississippi. Folk were friendly and welcoming and quite rural and lots of traditional values and conservative. How on earth did it become such a landing spot for so many progressives and woke fascists?
It's not really. Harris dominated three of the four largest counties (major urban center and two large college communities).

Beyond that the vast majority of Colorado is still conservative and rural (except Colorado Springs, which is conservative and urban). It's like Illinois in that regard.

My guess is wherever in CO you visited in your late teens would still be very similar to how it was then.

Legalized pot and California Liberals realizing their state was a shithole, only to set the whole thing up again.

Hate to break it to you, but "weed' meaning THC is legal in most states and sold legally in almost every state. I can buy it in Texas.

That isn't the impetus for liberalism.

Its not liberal, in fact its illiberal.

Progressivism is authoritarian, liberalism is not.

Lol, they have been super liberal, and always wanted to join the pqc12 back in big8 days, because they we wanted to be around other libtards, not Midwestern/midlands rednecks.

Their fans freeze urine filled balloons and throw them at opposing fans. Also non frozen balloons.

Yeah this I love weed and I love getting high but I don’t favor legalization or the government being involved in pot sales

I seem to remember a married Colorado senator back in the 70's named Gary hart who had a girlfriend on the side and a boat called Monkey Business. Liberals have been there awhile. Not to mention a crying crazy arse woman named pat Schroeder, congresswoman for over 20 years.

yeah NOW but when CO legalized recreational weed they and WA were the first two states to do so. I lived there at the time and saw a dramatic downward shift in the quality of of people swarming into the state whose prime interest was the availability of legal recreational weed.

As for all the people pointing at Californians moving in: They're part of it, but it's not just Cali. I saw a report from the Colorado State Demography Office a few years ago that showed the most common location people moved to Colorado FROM were: Bay Area of Cali, DC, NYC, Boston, Houston, and Chicago. The same report showed where people who left Colorado were moving TO: ID, TX, FL, AZ
