Especially with a belligerent commander in chief who is not going quietly. He and Jill could make things very difficult if they wanted to go scorched earth on the way out.
If Dems had a decent succession plan they would have implemented it long ago. I thought for a minute the debate was the hole that breached the dike but it appears the Dems just really are fricked.

It mention somewhere on X that the campaign money for Biden cannot go to the new candidate. If Biden steps down. It goes to Camel Toe only.

When they stick a replacement in there last minute who magically gets like 95 million votes to defeat Trump, I'm going to bump this and it's going to be the most depressing bump ever. But SFP may finally be forced to acknowledge what we've been seeing and talking about all along.

Oh those are the most significant aspects of their stupidity at this point. They certainly don’t have backup plans or contingency plans because they have no beliefs that their plans might fail or backfire.
Also, and I think this is a biggie, why would they be concerned with who their candidate is one iota if it’s all but a certainty that they have full ability to control the outcome of the election? If that’s the case then they’re perfectly fine with Biden being the candidate. Because it wouldn’t matter if were Biden or any Joe Schmo for that matter.

I hope they leave Biden. There isn't a more certain victory for Trump. Replacing Biden would inject new energy and erase the reality that the entire nation witnessed last night. It would give Dems a reason to hope.
