I dont understand the logic.

Pete played 3 seasons.

Clark played 4.

Pete played against men, Clark plays against women.

If it's the same why don't we have co ed teams and one league? Could it be because Clark wouldn't make the cut and it would be all males?

That's because there is no logic.

There is zero comparison.

It's like comparing a Gold-Medal winner in the Special Olympics to a Gold-Medal winner in the regular Olympics.

Well, the left seems okay with men playing in women's sports...

so, this comparison isn't hard from them

they just see gender as something that is fluid...

Not to mention there was no 3pt. line.

Yes, only because the Pedophile Democrats who can't define "woman" made it so.

Pistol Pete played with no 3-Point line and as someone else posted his freshman stats are not included. He was a GOAT

Had Pistol Pete been eligible as a freshman, with a 3 point shot available for him during his 4 years at LSU, his numbers would be unreal. Here's a portion of an article I came across ..

Congrats to Caitlin Clarke, but the Pistol's record will always be #1 to me .. he was unreal.

quote:

Former LSU coach Dale Brown noted that recordings of Maravich’s games make clear he routinely shot from beyond 20 feet. He and retired Baton Rouge-area sports writer Sam King concluded that Maravich would have averaged about 54 points per game had a 3-point line — adopted by the NCAA in 1986 — existed when he played. Maravich died in 1988 at the age of 40 after collapsing during a pickup basketball game.

“It bothers me a little bit,” Brown, who didn’t coach Maravich but knew him well, said of Clark inevitably surpassing Maravich on the scoring list. “What he did will never be equaled.”

Bottom line: she holds the women’s mark. Which is fine. But there’s no comparison, because they’re essentially different sports, and from different eras.

And Pete never had the benefit of a three point line!

And no mention that it took her five years to break PP’s three year totals PP did it without a three point line

Not sure why it took so long for this to be brought up. CC has 503 3-pointers in her career. She averages 28.3 points per game. PP averaged over 40. His ppg record is not in jeopardy.
