How can anyone stand to live in a democrat shithole? I rarely go to one, but when I do....

Like for my drs appointment in Atlanta today, I see this kind of thing and can’t wait to get back home.

Seattle is terrible, Portland is worse.

Nice. So Lacretia is an entited pampered princess and no doubt feels it’s somehow racist that she has to wait to see the doctor so she goes all SJW on the receptionist and when she runs out of bullshite to say she resorts to calling the receptionist a fat arse. It seems like this attitude among them is more prevalent in Atlanta than anywhere else really.
I don’t notice it as much in other large southern cities like Charlotte or Memphis

I don’t get it either. Republicans living in heavy democrat areas are destroying the country. It just 20 % of them moved to purple states they could possibly save the country.

Holy shite, I'm in Detroit for a week and it's been the most unbelievable experience I've had in a long time. I thought about starting my own thread on the decay and rot of urban America but we looks like you beat me to the punch. Without federal government welfare, food stamps and WIC, Detroit wouldn't exist. It barely exists as it is.
The entire city is comprised of liquor stores, pawn shops and check cashing centers. I'm sure the suburbs are nice but I've been here four days and everything within a 15 mile radius of downtown is complete and utter urban blight. Abandoned houses, crack dens, roving gangs and hundreds of people sitting on their porches doing nothing but collecting a government check.

Hard to believe, but 10 years ago Detroit was even worse.
There has been a lot of redevelopment done downtown. For example, the Book Cadillac Hotel was an abandoned shell for decades before being rehabbed.
Here is what it looked like before;
