This isn’t a big deal. Not sure why anyone would melt or gloat over a worthless special election

This is like saying that a Cleveland Browns win knocks the Patriots out of the playoffs.

At the end of the day, this is like winning a late season game with no playoff implications to avoid going 0 - 16. It's ok...when you've had your asses kicked at the polls for the last 8 years, I can see where you get desperate for something to gloat about.

seats will be picked up in 2018
That's almost certain, given the seats up for grabs and the makeup of those states.

Far more Dem. seats are threatened in 2018 than Rep. seats.

Whatever helps keep Trump from doing stupid shite in office is a huge win for the country. Thank you, Alabama. You made the right choice

Don't you and Moore share a few things in common?

I would trade straight up to the Democrats a Congressional seat from Alabama for The White House to the Republicans. This didn’t hurt at all. We get that seat back in 2018.

Trump will obviously be walking things back tomorrow morning on Twitter. He will rationalize something.

I don't forsee Trump walking anything back, but actually challenges Doug Jones. I would hope his 1st tweet would be congratulatory but also along the lines of "let's see just how liberal Senator Jones is going to be." And then Doug Jones will have to make a decision if he just wants to be a one term Senator.

the REDDEST state in the country.

Nah we here in SC gonna take that title. We elected Mark Sanford, even after censure and much shame from Appalachian Trail shenanigans over Steven Colbert's highly funded sister. And then ran unopposed in 2014. OL Roy would've won here by double digits your Soros' funded accusations wouldn't have worked here, freak.

About as big as Bama's loss to Auburn. Yeah it will be embarrassing for about a week, but at the end of the day everything will fall his way and it won't really matter.
