I feel like for the most part as a conservative in most situations I was expected to be careful what I say and where I say it. It’s acceptable for liberals to spew their negativity in a variety of situations from social media, work, personal life, etc. It’s been a double standard all of my life. I think with social media it’s emboldened liberals to be even more fanatical and people are for the first time asking, “WTF is wrong with these people?”

I was speaking to a friendly liberal recently and we did not go to the Kirk scenario however, we did talk briefly about guns.
I was asked if someone was threatening and coming at me with a knife, hammer, baseball bat, etc. (but not a gun) and I was armed what would I do. I said the person would receive as many center mass shots as I could get off to stop the threat. She was appalled and asked why would I not just shoot the legs. I then asked her why was the person coming at me with something that could kill me? Well, to kill me I said.
We agreed not to argue about it.

I don’t use Facebook for much other than marketplace but I have a feeling that I have a lot of friend deleting to do. Afraid to look in a way. Not sure I’m ready for the disappointment.
