AI is an issue for sure. Right now the military, NASA, Google, and intelligence agencies worldwide are already using it.

Congrats for continuing to prove you’re an idiot that shouldn’t breed. I’ve been very against the transgendered movement, but clearly reading isn’t your strong suite. You’re a fricking idiot.

“Conservatives” in open primary states really need to start getting behind this guy. With the likes of Beta raising millions of dollars, we need someone like Yangwho is the most common sense candidate from either party.

Yang’s platform is humanity cannot adapt to the future without government assistance. You are weak and helpless against the future, run for shelter in the governments warm soft arms.

Humans have adapted for thousands of years. We will do the same with regards to AI, be it through merging with tech, laws regarding tech, population control (I don’t have 8 kids working the farm last time I checked) and other free market solutions that will present themselves when that time comes.

I think you are way too focused on the AI aspect of it. Millions upon millions of middle class Americans will be put out of work not by simply AI or the intelligent aspect of it, but rather by automation in general. Yang isn’t simply focused on AI as much as automation.

OML is correct AI is about 20 years away I would say however the automation driving Americans out of jobs is today.

You "AI is the end of the world" guys are nuts. I don't understand why you guys are so afraid of change.

Yeah it's real dumb. The one thing that humans have over AI is the ability to be creative. So instead of pushing to be creative and create... The plan is to give them incentive to not create. We will fail miserably if we implement a universal basic income.

Has Yang addressed his insane assertion that the “freedom dividend” is like a corporate dividend? He doesn’t understand very basic things about corporate law. If a corporation had America’s financials and issued a dividend, it would be illegal and the board of directors held personally responsible.

That’s all I need to know about Yang.

Anyone that is an "adherent" UBI in any way is not a conservative.

What is it about "UBI does not work" do you or Yang not get?

An AI god will emerge by 2042 and write its own bible. Will you worship it?
