ETA: I just tried to email him but because I live outside his district the from would not allow me to move forward with an email.

Trump is 78 years old. He's been in the public eye for nearly 50 of those 78 years. His personality hasn't changed at any point during that time. It's not changing now.
"Old Trump" won in 2016 because he was different than every other loser Republican...who Mike Johnson and his ilk would prefer Trump to be. His election in 2016 was every bit as much a repudiation of the GOP and feckless losers like Romney and McCain as it was a referendum on Democrats.
In 2020 it took literally shutting down society in the greatest overreaction in modern history to defeat him. A scenario where many states shed all pretenses of election integrity under the auspices of "safety".
So to say Trump should "change his approach now" is absurd. He is who he is. Pretending to be someone he is not two months out isn't going to change anything. He's been the focal point of the media for nearly a decade, and has forced them to shed any modicum of objectivity. Who is Trump going to "turn away now" that he hasn't already?
The GOPe doesn't like him and never liked him because they feel like he "hijacked their party". However, that feeling shows their complete lack of self-awareness. A lifelong, arrogant, bombastic New Yorker doesn't suddenly become a demigod in places like rural Alabama, Oklahoma, South Dakota, the panhandle of Florida, New Iberia, etc because people there just "got to know him better." It's because they were sick of the GOP that pretended to fight for their interest...but never actually did. Kind of like Mike Johnson.

Trump needs to hammer Harris' lunatic policies and her failures as a VP and Atty General of California and do away with the name calling and personal attacks. He has milked that cow till it's dry.
His latest TV add where she is saying "That's Bidenomics" and "Bidenomics works!" in between news people quoting the latest bad economic news is a good start.

Spot on, Trump is running his best campaign for so far.
He is on X with Elon, tik tok, that streamers podcast, multiple rallies, interviews etc. My dude got shot & stood right back up.
Too many R’s are trying to nitpick at him, he is winning this race & making smart policy choices.

Well, you have to consider that Mike Johnson has never attacked his opponent. That's because he's never had one. He doesn't even have to run ad. He polls 80% in our district so no Dems run against him. He wins by default.

If he wants the independents he’ll have to do exactly that. He has to give them reasons to vote for him rather than sit it out which they may do if he doesn’t.
