And the other 15, which we were talking about......arent team players.

And the ones who refused to vote for Scalise - even when Jordan was supporting Scalise - also weren't team players.

So again, what's different here?

It's been glorious watching the right get so angry and the left just laughs at it.

If Scalise is voting for Jordan, why the F would these other idiots vote for Scalise?

It’s because the right is incredibly fractured but also too stupid to realize it. You should never make a major change without having your contingencies ready to go.

You might end up with an unintended consequence.

They did not, because Scalise didn't have the votes... because some GOPers were petulant.

Now, Jordan took it to the floor, and a different set of GOPers are petulant.

In both events, the GOP could not close ranks behind a nominee.

So, why is one group applauded and the other group looked upon poorly?

Would be great if we had just a little bit of intellectual consistency here.

It’s amazing how lame some Republicans are. What is there to gain by voting against Jordan? What is it about Jordan that makes him inferior to McCarthy or Scalise? We weren’t really going anywhere special with those guys.

This entire thing is a masterclass in how not to run an organization.

Pandora's box has been opened, etc.

So, with 432 voting, the number to get is 217, correct?

The entire spectrum of the right is full of barely functioning retards. They can’t stop stepping on their dicks every single time we get any sort of an advantage.

Meanwhile…..the left stays on the same page.

That's not what this is. This is an ideological battle playing out.

It's not "dysfunction." It's how we are SUPPOSED TO function.

You’re right, but maybe they should consider that McCarthy wasn’t all that effective and that there is a reason he was ousted.
