wow. these frickers would vote to dismantle the constitution
House Democrats introduce new bill to abolish not just ICE, but the entire Department of Homeland Security
Well, this is an interesting strategy to deploy right before the November midterms.
To be clear, it's not exactly unheard of for politicians -- both Democrats and Republicans -- to ratchet up the campaign rhetoric as Election Day draws nearer.
But the secret to turning up the temperature is to ensure that things don't get too hot.
And House Democrats may have just put the thermostat at an uncomfortably warm number.
Illinois Democratic Rep. Delia Ramirez raised a few eyebrows on Tuesday when she decided to intensify her anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement rhetoric -- a popular subtopic among the Democrats -- to the point where it engulfed the Department of Homeland Security as well.
Calling it the Reimagining Safety Act, Ramirez's office said her latest legislation is intended to "dismantle the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), abolish Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and create the Department of Community Safety."
Ramirez laid out her exact plan with six steps, including the establishment of that Department of Community Safety.
Some of these goals are even loftier.
One such goal reads, "Begin the process of establishing a separate civil immigration system."

While they all live in gated communities that wouldn’t allow any illegal to live amongst them.

They want less oversight ….. pure and simple

Want to open the border. Wide open. And now they are going to work on making them citizens. It is a slow rolling revolution by ballot box.

Can a republican with a spine include the Dept of Education, IRS, CIA, and half of the FBI?

Why would they want Homeland security for a country they despise? A country that's borders would be completely eliminated if up to them, which would effectively end the entire existence of this country as its always been known. When they tell you they hate you and want you dead, believe them.

James Talerico would never support such nonsense per Texas voters!

You do realize for the entirety of our existence a certain political party wasn’t trying to import the third world to win elections? You probably believe the saying on the Statue of Liberty is in the Constitution, Karen? Have you yelled at the sky on the sidewalk today? The day is still young!

Yep. The government reacted to 9/11 they same way they react to everything. Just throw mooaarr government at it. DHS, ICE, TSA, and the patriot act are the stinkiest of the avalanche of turds the government rolled out using 9/11 as the excuse

Has nothing to do with what Democrats are trying to achieve no matter how naive you are as an adult lol
