Right but now imagine him meeting with a foreign leader like Putin.
Yea not doubt
I respect that Walz seemed open-minded and willing to listen at several points tonight. We need more of that in this country

Same
It also reinforced how truly terrible of a candidate Kamala is. She has zero redeeming qualities.

Tim has a certain folksy appeal that was the entire reason he was picked.
PA, MI, MN, OH, WI, VA, GA
If he was governor of Hawaii, he wouldn't have sniffed the ticket.

Less annoying, absolutely.
More articulate, sure (though that's a low bar). I don't remember how articulate Hillary was in 2016, but I suspect she was better.
But he seems soft and a bit out of his league. The stage is too big for him and if the journalists weren't setting things up for him on a plate, Vance would've smoked him even worse than he did.

True. He’s at least half assed believable and doesn’t make your ears bleed.

That's fine, but it's not because of his positions, honesty, qualifications, etc... You (and others in this thread) think this because he kept complimenting Vance and saying things like "We mostly agree on this", even when that wasn't really the case.
Walz is still the limped dicked queer that he was a few days ago. He just cleverly implied that he supported some sort of unity while tarding out during a debate.

I agree with you. I'd be much more likely to be friends with Walz than Vance in real life if I was choosing between the two and politics wasn't an issue.

True... but I think he was forced to adapt.
Similar to football or basketball, where one team does better at dictating tempo, I think it was Vance who dictated the temperature and cordial nature of this debate. And it forced Walz to do the same, which he somewhat did to his credit-- just not as well as Vance.

Road kill is a better candidate than Skankmala.

I’d give him a 6 out of 10 performance. He defended Kamala’s record as best he could have. He said a lot of things of substance, while Kamala said nothing of substance and still has yet to say anything of substance since she’s been the nominee. Anything she has said of substance was in 2019/2020.

Policies & politics aside he honestly seems like a decent guy that got suckered into having to carry the water for brain dead Kamala.

His tendency to murder them aside, some ladies found Ted Bundy to be charming.
That Walz is more personable than Kamala is nice, but not much of an accomplishment. I do agree with the OP that it was a bit refreshing to see a civil debate, but I think Vance established that tone.

She could win with millions of illegals that vote.

I agree. I came away liking him tbh. I didn't like him before tonight. I hate his policies obviously but he was way less phony than I expected. He'd be a cool teacher to have.
