Should there be zero personal injury lawyers or just a lot fewer ones?

Ehhhh we like to complain about it, but travel through Alabama on any interstate highway and you will get to know at the very least Alexander Shunnarrah

Zero.
The specialty did not exist 100 years ago. If you wanted to bring a lawsuit against someone who injured you just went to a lawyer.
Science is great. But there was a specialty called alchemy. It no longer exists. We're much better off.

Speak for yourself, I have many pounds of lead, alchemy could make me insanely rich.....F/U money.

So you want there to be "regular" lawyers who will handle the personal injury cases but nobody who calls themselves "personal injury lawyers"?

Yes. That would mean ZERO advertising on TV or billboards since that would = 'calling themselves personal injury lawyers.'
Or maybe you think people would instinctively call Dudley-DeBossier or Morris Bart just randomly.

I'm just trying to understand where you're coming from. It sounds like your main issue is just the amount of advertising.

The legal economy in Texas is way healthier than Louisiana. Not sure what he’s getting at.

Why is he writing an email to himself??

Noble profession? They even lie to and convince themselves.

I do appreciate the admission by Kenny that most plaintiff attorneys would be out of a job, the implication being that they would be incapable of adapting to something else. In other words, surviving on emotion and bullshite doesn't translate well in all legal disciplines.
I bet his phone is blowing up right now over this getting out.

So both the ambulance drivers and ambulance chasers support Edwsrds.

What do you have against trial lawyers? They are a profit center, they bring money into the community . Insurance companies TAKE money from the community.(this was told to me by a trial attorney who has been beat up on this board)
When you think about it, the trial lawyers are kinda right. The insurance company's money is doing the Louisiana attorney more good in Louisiana than in places like Hartford, CT

Who pays for the advertising? Folks with insurance do.

Not to many the amount of jobs these firms create. The big firms employ hundreds of people directly and support many indirectly.

I mean, if you want to go down the line, private business owners (attorneys) pay for it out of cases they win/settle, those fees coming from the insurance companies of insured drivers who caused an injury to someone else.

Considering how many in "the community" in this state don't bother to pay insurance premiums, yea I guess you are kind of right.

put those talentless scumbags out of work!

Quite possibly one of the least efficient uses for capital one could fathom in any economy.
