They never once mentenioned nuclear weapons. The UN inspectors specifically mentioned chemical weapons. Iraq was under UN inspections for these weapons. On multiple occasions UN inspectors were denied access to buildings and trucks. They returned to the UN and reported this. They reported that the trucks were leaving Iraq and going into Syria carrying these weapons. I was stationed in England and we were flying Northern Watch during this time.

I’m not sure which has been more dizzying: Trump’s most fervent fanboys suddenly saying the Epstein affair is no big deal or turning on a dime and aligning with the worst neocon elements in the GOPe.

Denied access to key sites: Inspectors with UNSCOM and the later UN Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission (UNMOVIC) were denied prompt and unrestricted access to various sites, including military facilities, Ba'ath Party headquarters, and the Ministry of Agriculture.
Restricted access to buildings and trucks: Inspectors were blocked from entering certain buildings and sites. In 2003, UNMOVIC chairman Hans Blix noted that inspectors had tried to verify intelligence about Iraqi mobile biological weapons units. Iraq denied their existence and offered pictures of legitimate vehicles instead of allowing inspectors access to the suspected trucks.
Controlled interviews: Iraq initially refused private interviews with its scientists and officials, insisting that they be monitored by Iraqi officials.
Late and incomplete disclosures: Iraq repeatedly submitted inaccurate, incomplete, or delayed declarations about its weapons programs. Following the 1995 defection of Hussein's son-in-law, Hussein Kamil, Iraq finally disclosed more information on its programs.

They didnt know if they did have biological weapons because Iraq was not complying with inspections. We did know they had used them on the kurds in northern Iraq while conducting Northern watch. Where do people think Syria got the biological weapons they were using on the rebels in Syria?

Ehh, the main drug is cocaine but this is a lie.

Because of how Venezuela is and its coast line. Drugs from not just Venezuela flow through Venezuela. Including opioids.

Why don't we start in Mexico then? Are we droning drug production facilities or cartel headquarters in Mexico? Are we gonna take out the cartel approved president?

Inside one of the most powerful drug cartel's in Mexico where they make deadly drug fentanyl….

Exactly. The overwhelming majority of the illicit fentanyl trade emanates from Mexico.

Mexican cartels indeed are the key player in the production of the illicit fentanyl smuggled into the United States since the cartels synthesize the drug using precursor chemicals sourced from China. So if stopping the flow of illicit drugs from foreign cartels is the primary objective, why aren’t we bombing Mexico or China?

I asked this in other threads and have yet to receive an answer. I half expect some neocon fanboy to say “ThAt’s nExT!”

One of the last things Trump did in his first term was temporary legal status to 200,000 Venezuelans in America. This protected them from deportation and allowed them to get work permits.

The move to use DED instead of TPS stems from a long-standing concern from some Republicans that TPS will eventually become a path to permanent residency in the United States. Deferred Enforced Departure is designated by the president and gives the chief executive the ability to end it without as many procedural hurdles.

I also don't think it's realistic to expect political stability that would be required for people to return in any short time frame

I would expect excellent stability once Maduro was removed and Machado was installed.

Trump gave temporary legal status to 200,000 Venezuelans 2 days before he left office.......he was not going to have the power to end it after those two days.

We would have never been able to send them back during Covid as it was but Biden extended it for 3 more years.

Trump is ending it for 300,000.

No it’s made in China and Venezuela just moves it.

What a dumbass. Those boats don’t come into our waters. They take drugs to Caribbean island nations where they get loaded onto private vessels, shipping containers, planes bound for the U.S. Officials on these island nations are easily bribed and they have very limited police/military capabilities to fight it anyways.

Military action against Venezuela doesn’t have much, if anything, to do with citizenship and welfare.
I’m not sure of your point…
