The pretty credible witness the BBC guy interviewed already said it was likely the snipers couldn't see the assassin because he was crawling up the backside of the sloped roof.

I guarantee that a sniper in that role does not have to ask permission to shoot a person on a roof aiming their rifle.

The video looks like the SS snipers were actually ducking for cover as the shots were fired. It also looks like that one SS sniper had to pull off his optic to spot the shooter better (the sniper scopes are very long range). There should have also been SS snipers with closer range 4x optics on an M4 also.

The higher ups in this administration are rotten and it's obvious the SS really screwed up here by not having that roof guarded, but this 4chan account is BS.

Actually, I believe Bongino confirmed their current ROE. Can’t shoot until the shooter does.

I can't image a clown world in which that would be true.

There is a lot of mockery - perhaps well deserved - in this thread, but if that sniper knows what the real and likely significantly life-affecting consequences of his failure to shoot are, then he might choose to go public in a venue wherein he knows that such would not be scrutinized and perhaps censored by traditional MSM sources. Think Hunter's Laptop...or worse, Huma's Laptop that scared the long battle-hardened NY Police Chief into utter panic while at big time presser.

Getting it ALL out there might be an honest cya personal move for someone who did not want to go up against the powers that be in the corrupt hierarchy that employed him. He knows what this means, to the Top.

Don't know, just saying.

I dont disagree that this post is fake.

However, you know that the snipers on that roof have to get approval from someone prior to engaging. There is no way they aren't looking through their scopes & mentioning the target to someone..

I would be interested in knowing if the shooter was mentioned to someone and the order to engage was not given.

I’m guessing this is fake.

That said, you’d be stunned at who posts on 4chan. Place is a cesspool, but there’s brilliant people hanging out.

Couple years ago in Portland when the Antifa guy shot the Proud Boy, some channers in a matter of hours had his identity and profile posted. And when the same guy did the interview, they tracked down his approximate location based on the vegetation.

Shia Lebouf had a never Trump type flag with a live feed flying somewhere in Tennessee lately, they looked at interview film, took screenshots of the paneling in the house, and went through VRBO postings until they found the house. Then looked at the stars in the live feed, calculated the location, found the flag, and were laughing in the live feed.

This is bs if true. There is no way Biden would endorse this if it was his own security team. No way! The very logic and premise for such a policy would be counter to the intended purpose of life security for the person they guard.

Ludicrous on its face. Although DEI hires at that level is the same.

So every detail has to wait on Kimberly's order before engaging?

And if he felt confident enough to fire then he’d be confident enough to order Trump removed from the stage.

No way it's true if they spot someone climbing to an elevated position with an AR slung over their back. While he belly crawled up the slope of the roof, there's no way his rifle wasn't spotted. He would have had it on his back or already unslung it and had it in his hand.

It was mentioned elsewhere, and makes incredible sense, the snipers and spotters first protocol would not be to shoot but to give the word to hide and protect the VIP. As mentioned, that happens fairly often and very very quickly. Pulled off stage until the situation is cleared.

I don’t think the question here is why the shot wasn’t take first, the question really is why if civilians saw the shooter that trump was allowed to continue to speak and the situation not cleared. I’m not saying it was a conspiracy as much as absolutely pathetic security detail work.

Oh I agree 100%. First command should have been to get Trump off stage and get distance between them. Past that, or without that, someone sees a guy with a rifle taking aim, you have to take the shot.

Exactly. This is so fricked up. The Swiss cheese of prevention/mitigation was threadbare.
