No one is in fear for their life from a small pot of boiling water 15 ft away or even 5 feet away. A burn is all you can get. Murder. Nothing more and I am a big supporter of the police. I usually give them the benefit of the doubt but this is ridiculous, sad, and criminal.

It was hard to see what she was doing in that angle when he was telling her to put the pot down.
I cannot make a determination based on that view.
If she had the pot up and was acting as if she was throwing it, that could be self defense.
If she was putting it back down, then it's not.

What he did is indefensible. Yet here you are fighting for him.
They were literally in different rooms, she was in the kitchen and they were in the living room. They should have just shot her as soon as she opened the door just in case she had a gun under her robe. That would have been the safest thing for them. No potential threats then.
Yes, it would have been MUCH better for that cop to have gotten a burn than to spend the rest of his life in prison. You hear horror stories about how brutal prison is for former cops. I would imagine he would gladly take a pot of boiling water to the face versus what he is going to get. It won’t just be to his face and it won’t be just once. So yes, the pot of water would have been much better for him.

Um... she was 15 feet away. And a small, older lady. He wasn't going to get 3rd degree burns even if she had thrown the water at him. It wouldn't have reached him. And if some did, it would be cooled to the point where it might've felt hot, but he most assuredly wouldn't have gotten "3rd degree burns."

But he will definitely feel his butthole burning on the regular. They will likely knock his teeth out too. Unless they keep him segregated. And even then, when they figure out what he did, it probably won’t matter. No matter what his sentence is, I doubt he leaves prison alive.

Police kill 1000 people per year in the US. We’re pretty much to August which means about 600 have been killed by police this year. Biden’s account drops a tweet about this the day Kamala becomes the nominee. Yeah, I’m sure that was organic and not meant to incite people trying to drive support for Kamala since she’s part black.
