I think this is a great thing ensuring the physical well being of service members. It’s for age 30 and older but anyone on active duty can participate in the screening during their annual health assessment and possible treatment. The VA doesn’t allow TRT. Hopefully that comes next for veterans.

I hope that they tell service members that TRT can cause infertility but using the fertility drug clomiphene can raise testosterone levels and sperm count but it is more expensive that TRT.

The problem and what influencers, etc. fail to tell you is your body becomes entirely dependent on it. After a while your body completely stops producing testosterone on its own.

I think that's pretty well understood and don't follow the logic behind that being a reason to not approve the therapy if natural methods fail.

That’s why the VA is against it.

You can combine it with enclomiphene and anastrozole to counter those side effects too though.

Enclomiphene makes sure your body continues to produce testosterone making it easier to come off.

Anastrozole blocks the extra estrogen production that usually comes with the therapy.

They should test this for civilians too.

Not just the males, either. I'm talking about these self-medicating trannies who are born with a va-j-j taking testosterone. Over medicating themselves with it, and displaying everything from flash-tempers to outright violent behavior.

Ok, I'm no medical expert, but it's plain that male testosterone and female estrogen don't mix well when out of balance. But is there ANY legitimate medical reason for females to be taking testosterone?

Wait till the ‘SoldierBots’ show up. They won’t need testosterone, just a Chip. I’m thinking China will be first with that. They roll. They can because there are no opposing arguments and restrictions on chosen actions.

Sometimes I wonder about Jesus saying that “the meek shall inherit the Earth “. I guess he meant after the badasses take out the trash. And half the good folk in the process. From where we are now to where good folk hope and believe we will be…is shaping up to be a helluva ride.

Menopause. Low dose trt helps women maintain libido, muscle mass and bone density.

Am I the only one that thinks this is just something to troll the left?

Where is the data that says combat readiness is related to plasma testosterone levels?

It just seems silly to me....and something designed to rustle the jimmies of leftists.

Nope. It might have fed your cancer but it didn't GIVE you cancer.

Fair enough. Cellular abnormalities give you cancer, the super high T only exacerbated it.

You’re in the wrong thread.

TRT has become a huge moneymaker as a cure-all for insecure men.

It’s like bro-tox.

There are natural ways to raise testosterone levels. Diet and leg exercises and proper sleep.

Not sure if that works for the type of injury repetitive getting your head and body wrecked like many with military experience.

Reduced testosterone is probably our bodies way of saying “stop doing all this crazy stuff because I can’t take too much more of that.”

Bloodwork needs to be done 3-4 months not just annually

Many of these people will need a SERM or AI, to offset estrogen which will rise then add that to the gear that some combat arms/special ops already take

But do you trust a military or va provider for it??

Why not just contract this out to a private provider near every military installation who will run appropriate dosages routine bloodwork etc

Then you would have to be taking 3 pills to maintain testosterone….

The leg exercises idea is better than the pill popping idea.
