I’m not sure you can read for comprehension. Your post shows no evidence of it.

Wherever Trump has no shot, neither does Desantis. How would a further right idealist win over independent minded folks with notably “looser” positions on the most heated social issues of the day??

I think he is saying that the people are flocking to Trump and he should have been smarter.

Agree, it's a one man race from the Rep side.

For someone like Ron who has 2028 aspirations and a real chance, he should have stayed out.

This primary is just an opportunity for unknowns to get their name out there for 2028 or a VP spot.

By not being intentionally obnoxious 100% of the time.

Here's the argument: since 2020 and the leftward lurch of public officials/government, Americans have moved to the Right (there's polling that backs this up). They're also weary of chaos. DeSantis being conservative wouldn't be the dealbreaker that the chaos associated with Trump would be.

Not suicide, yet. He should ignore the TDS RINOS and get back behind the plow. An explosion is coming and he’d beat let a rogue fighter handle that. It will be ugly. Marxist/Fascist guarantee that. They are dead serious when it comes to ‘social justice’.

This ^^^.

I always thought it was better to sacrifice Trump as political fodder because he’s already got the DC Uniparty totally unhinged. I thought it would better to let Trump take the ire of the Anti Trump Consortium and then a DeSantis type come in for cleanup, but DeSantis was convinced by the DC R establishment donors to bust a move in 2024….huge fricking mistake on Ronnie’s part.

Trump shits on the Republican Party because that’s better for Trump. The Trump shills follow his lead because their own decision making processes have been hijacked.

Everybody paying attention in the world of politics is saying out loud today!

quote:

Cernovich
@Cernovich

The biggest mistake of DeSantis (who if you remember I thought had a real chance) was to listen to 2015-2016 era Never Trump’ers. These people are disgusting losers who are always wrong and offer no insights to victory.

Yeah, I thought he had a chance too, at least enough of a chance to make it competitive. But the Never Trump’ers quickly turned his campaign into Jeb! 2.0.

Maybe he can correct? ?????

I don’t see how unless he cleans house and purges all never Trump’ers.

I don’t think this is an irreversible error, but it’s gotta be fixed ASAP. People want to coalesce behind his leadership, but don’t want to say so out loud. He has to give them a reason to, like in Florida.

These are big supporters of his in terms of influence on social media.

No.

I was early DeSantis promoter. After giving free game and them not listening (or acting too late), I don’t see any hope for him. Wish him well but that’s that.

How many Cerno’s are there period? Let alone who would advise campaign on media vs Trump.

That narrative got set a week or two ago, along with his wife being the real boss. Repeat it enough it becomes their reality.

You used to be a pretty big Trump guy if I recall correctly. What changed? Genuinely curious. Not looking to throw shade.

There are decent people here who have done exactly this. Not JJ. He’s not a decent person.
