and the long term effects of getting covid multiple times are?

You do know the shot doesn’t stop you from getting COViD, right? So if you got the shot, it is very likely you have gotten or will get COViD multiple times.

So they are technically in both of the categories you are trying to compare.

Is the covid vaccine worse long term than actually contracting covid multiple times?

There is a Cleveland Clinic study that shows the higher the number of vaccines previously received, the higher the risk of contracting COVID-19.

If that is the case, being vaccinated only adds to the long term concerns.

I feel better and better about my decision everyday. It was timing for us. We got the Vid 1/1/21. There were no jabs available then.

When we got better we decided to let the un exposed get the jabs first. We honestly just waited to not step in front of someone that was not exposed. As the pressures began to mount the wife and I dug in. Neither of us respond well to threats or social pressures. By the end of 2021 it was clear we were never getting the jabs.

We were lucky!

I think the key words there are "for me" because it definitely wasn't an easy decision for me and for a lot of other people. I am a contractor for the Army, and there was significant pressure for me to take it or lose my job.

Luckily the company I work for backed me in my decision not to take the so-called "vaccine", and even helped me fill out my religious exemption form in a way that was both truthful and adequate for their audit/requirement purposes. But there were far more companies that were far less accommodating to their employees.

Far too many people were forced with a choice to either take the jab or get canned. So it definitely wasn't an easy decision for a whole lot of folks.

Well everything you just said is why I stated that I know a lot of people lost their jobs, and how that never should have happened. But, again, for me, it doesn't matter if you fire me. Yes, it matters in the sense that it is an injustice, but it doesn't matter in how I make my decision. I'm a firm believer that we should trust in God to provide for us. That means if one door closes, another one will open. But giving in is not an option. Especially when it can kill me. Do I want to risk my life to save my job? I don't find that to be a difficult choice. If I'm going to put my life on the line, it better be to protect my family or country. Not my job.

To be sure, I wrestle with a lot of decisions in life, and haven't always made the right one's, but this just isn't something I ever had any second thoughts about. Thankfully, I really haven't met any resistance to this point, other than having to tell a store clerk that I would not wear a mask. But I'm not going to change my stance if someone wants to come at me over it.

It feels weird celebrating something that wasn't very hard to do, for me. I'm thankful to have been blessed with common sense. There was never a doubt in my mind from the earliest reports of COVID, that it was obviously being overblown, and was a big hoax. And when I say hoax, I'm talking about the disproportionate amount of fear mongering vs the reality of the the actual danger of the virus.

I know a lot of people lost their jobs, and that's terrible and should never have happened, but no job is worth my life, if anyone ever wants to fire me over not taking a vaccine. Easy choice.

Your whole post is great, and on the money, until you do the same thing you are criticizing them for, which is exaggerating the negative effects of the vaccine. “…no job is worth my life”. Okay, Nancy, you and the rest of the vax-pussies get in line over there with the covid-pussies.

This might be a valid point if the COVID vaccine actually prevented you from getting COVID which I don't even think the truest of believers even try to pretend anymore.
