even IF (and that's one huge if, but let's give him the benefit of the doubt) he actually had his paperwork in prior to deployment orders, he still dropped papers while the country was at war and everyone was getting deployed. tons of dudes did the exact opposite in order to NOT retire or EAS just so they COULD deploy with their units and fight.
this guy is such a fricking clown and watching people try to defend this aspect of his career is laughable. especially considering that even if all of the paperwork and dates and all that line up to be legit and not retiring to avoid deployment, he STILL frickING LIED ABOUT GOING TO WAR

it's literally the same exact strategy my wife uses to avoid any legitimate issue i bring up. dont address the main issue, focus on some small nuance about my issue, make the argument about that nuance, act indignant and victimized, then just ignore it.
they are avoiding talking about his clear and obvious lie about going to combat, his extremely questionable retirement timeline, and when those issues are brought up, they just screech "STOP ATTACKING SERVICEMEMBERS"
it's so orchestrated and obvious, time and time again.

He wouldn't have just heard a rumor. He would have gotten a call from his commander to grab his SIPR token and go check his emails. There would be absolutely no ambiguity for the command team here, he knew exactly which is why he's chickenshit.
