This is men’s hockey culture. It is deeply toxic, deeply conservative, and deeply misogynist and homophobic.

But those of us who have followed the league for any period of time knew that it wasn’t just a matter of if the league and its players would disappoint these new fans but when.

I doubt she seriously follows the NHL.

She's (unsurpisingly) nuts. Here are the titles of some of her articles:

Here's one showing how crazy she is when she apparently wrote under her other name "Britani." I assume was before she decided she was a them.

Some quotes from that article
quote:

Our relationship had never been particularly healthy. We met in a bar and bonded over cocaine, hard drinking, and rough sex.
quote:

Aside from the partying, we didn’t really have much in common. I’d been thrilled to cast my vote for President Barack Obama when he won his first term. He preferred Sen. John McCain of Arizona.
quote:

“I can’t be seen with you in public if you’re going to dress like that. I’m sorry.” I looked at him in disbelief. “Are you really breaking up with me because my clothes are too flashy?” Yes, he was. He said I embarrassed him in front of his friends with the outfits I wore.
quote:

Week after week, I’d go to his place in the dead of night. I’d leave other dates with very nice guys — guys who were actually into me, and who had no problem being seen with me in public — to sneak into his house, careful not to wake his roommates.
quote:

I was the unhinged ex yelling, "Why don’t you just go home with her already!” across the bar, as he chatted up another woman. I was the scorned lover who couldn’t move on, who sent texts at all hours of the night, begging to see him
quote:

We text twice a year — on our birthdays. To the rest of the world, it was pure dysfunction. To us, I truly believe that it was some kind of love.

She was getting dicked down by a John McCain voter and he didn't want her. It's probably what turned her crazy.

Why can’t we just watch the game and enjoy it?

I never think about politics when watching sports. I just want my team to win. IF the left guard is gay or the edge rusher has 3 wives, are things I don’t know or care to know about.

By doing what?
Showing up at the SOTU?
Going to the White House?

It's amazing how often they have a hair color that's not found in nature (at least for hair).

"Deeply toxic" = masculine.

"Deeply conservative" = logical.

"Deeply misogynist" = not letting women be killed by men on the ice.

"Homophobic"? Those guys aren't afraid of a bunch of satchel-wearing poofters with nose rings.

The writer is an AWFUL.

Shouldn’t it be cultural appropriation for any female with neon hair to comment on mens hockey!?!
