There are only 1.9 million black people in the entire UK now. Slavery ended over 170 years ago there, so of course there weren't millions at the time they were freed.

If you are considered black in England you are most likely from Pakistan or India.
Moroccans and Algerians may have the same skin color as Obama but wouldn't be considered black in the UK.
There is also the groups of black Irish and black Welsh -like Catherine zeta Jones - who are considered black.
Being "black" has totally didn't meaning outside of the USA.
