I hereby propose the removal of all team icons, avatars, and affiliations on the poliboard henceforth due to the disproportionate amount of embarrassing supposed "hog fans" misrepresenting our great state.

There is also enough adequate information to suspect two or more of these posters to be the same misguided and ill-informed individual, due to the rarity of such polidiots in the great state of Arkansas.

TL/DR -

PBhog
Cruiserhog
Sometimes Clark24 or whatever

Stop it.

Just.... stop it, dammit. You're making us look bad.

Agree.

W should not have listened to the Democrats (Congressional Black Caucus and Barney Frank) in calling off Rep Baker R-LA in restraining the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac housing bubble.

But W is a cuck.

What is a "fair wage"?

Also. Say we bump min wage up to 15 an hr. What happens to those who made 15 before we bumped min wage? They gonna keep their job doing a harder job for the same pay or are they gonna quit and go flip burgers, or will they get a raise as well?

Now.. Those guys got their raise... Now what about the guys above them?

And so on... And so on....

I look forward to your response..e

So if I make websites, and eventually have so many requests to make sites, that I now need to hire people to help me? Youre suggesting that my wealth should be forever kept to myself, and that I should tell people to forget wanting their own site . . . .

. . . . because me trickling down to someone else doesn't benefit everyone involved ?????

Mfer where have you been since the trump tax cuts were announced. You are either being intentionally obtuse or you are dumb as a sack of hammers. I am going with the latter being from pine bluff and all...

Are you referring to the economics that have the GDP smoking at 5%, wages rising at the fastest rate in a generation, and unemployment at the lowest rate anybody can remember?

Yep. They don't work. For progressives. For everyone else, they work just fine.

Yes. We must keep people at 7.25 so they will have a job. Sounds pretty stupid when it's put that way but that's really what you're saying.

All of you idiots and sociopaths that somehow think it's okay to pay someone to 725 an hour to live in this country are off your fricking meds.

I think 16 year old kids need 15 an hour to work as well.

every single economic transaction in this country is done with both sides believing they benefit, including the decision to accept a job at a given wage rate

I'll ask you the same thing.

We make min wage 15 an hr. What happens to those who made 15 an hr previously? They say frick it and keep working for $15? Get a job at bk? Or do they get a raise?

Now what about the guys above them?

The guys above them?

The guys above them?

You raise the bottom pay you raise everyones pay. You raise everyone's pay, you raise the cost of goods. You raise the cost of goods, those who make min wage are just as bad off if not worse off than they were before.

Please quote the text from any of my posts that says this.

If you take profit away from a business, the business will not be there. And if I’m paying my employees so much that there’s no profit, something about that will change (frequently layoffs) so the business will make a profit, or again, the business and the jobs will not be there.

Minimum wage jobs are not careers, they are for students and starting points to work your way to the next position. If as an adult you are still making minimum wage then there is something wrong with you, not the employer.

If you think $15/hr minimum wage is a great idea, you've obviously never made it past shift management in your career.

And guess what? Most of those companies that have CEOs that are pulling in $20-30 million a year in salaries and benefits 1) likely pay any and all of their skilled employees well in excess of $15/hr and 2) have profit sharing plans and retirement accounts for most, if not all employees. Unskilled, entry level labor does not need excessive pay, nor does it deserve it.
