Rifles have been around since before the founding of this country. Almost every house had one or more for the last 100 years.
An AR is a rifle. It’s not the guns.

Why not pivot to limiting ammunition by cost and outlaw sealed primers?
You really think people went through all the trouble to learn to make guns with a 3d printer and hardware store parts and they haven't developed a way to reuse primers with easy to get materials?
I don't mean little toys good for a couple of shots when I mention 3d printers, sure you can bang one of those out to, but these are semi auto guns good for thousands of rounds. Priming is a PITA but complete doable and quite reliable.

So using your logic the first amendment protects paper and pencils?
Well, yeah. Are you aware of what the 1st amendment actually says?

Then why do gun control advocates not use the process?
Lol because the nra is in the pockets of the right people.

To be fair, tranny with a musket would’ve been done after his grandma.

Primers are extremely hard to make. Uncrimped unlaquered primers last about three years.

What do you have against guns? My legally owned guns have never harmed a single person.

Ya, sure, that's what it is. It's not because support for changing/repealing the 2nd has very little support in this country.
Idiot.

I have nothing against guns, I have a large collection. However everyone who knows has always known that ammunition is the weak link.

Curiously enough, the only politician that dealt with meaningful gun control was Trump, when he was able to ban bump stocks after the infamous Vegas massacre on 10/1/2017.

Ammunition does, and it’s not protected by the Second Amendment.

It's not about guns or ammo, it is about criminals and the criminally insane. They can't shoot innocents while in prison.
Jamaica a few decades back was plagued with a high murder rate of 25/100,000. A lot of those were shooting deaths. They banned all civilian firearms and backed it up with special police, special jails and special courts. Gun deaths went down dramatically.
However, their overall homicide rate went up to 45/100,000 with the main weapon being gangs of young male thugs with machetes.

I support gun rights but objectively the 2nd amendment is clear as mud.
Try studying the history from which it sprang and the constitutions of the 13 colonies that it was derived from.

One of the first things he did was sign H.J. Resolution 40 to remove an executive order by Obama. Look it up retard.

If you wanted to get rid of guns, the best way would be with a buyback program for handguns and AW's and disallowing new stock into circulation. You wouldn't have to change any other laws/violate the constitution and most would go in a generation or two.
