Guns the Tx shooter used were already illegal.

Making them "super-duper" illegal may have stopped him.

Defintly.

The stat the NRA doesnt want you to know about: No murders or mass killings ever took place before guns were legal in America.

There's a mountain of research showing that making it harder to get guns, and reducing the number of guns in a location, leads to fewer gun deaths.

But you're not interested in that, you'd rather watch Americans die so you can continue your love affair with 1 amendment and your specific interpretation of it.

Kids by the millions, literally in the streets.

You ever get around to reading up on that CDC information?

Anyone dying violently is bad. Mass shootings drive a very emotional response and its easy to get wrapped up in the numbers. Just for comparison, Chicago had 323 violent deaths,(the article didn't break out gun deaths, but im sure they are the majority)through the first 6 months of 2017. That is the equivalent to 4 mass shootings per month in terms of numbers of deaths. It is sad and heartbreaking. There is also not a damn thing we can do about it. There are already millions of guns in the US, the ONLY thing that MIGHT work is confiscation. That isn't going to happen. People talk about how other countries have gun bans and gun death rates are lower, they probably are, but one day........those citizen will regret being unarmed. Who knows when, but id bet it will happen.

So you think removing firearms will solve the violence issue of inner cities?

You lack the capacity to properly discuss, and we both know you're not even interested in that.

I read it when it came out - Clames ever come around and give his ignorant interpretation? Remember, we're waiting on him.

Who do you think made this statement?

quote:

By calling attention to "a well regulated militia", the "security" of the nation, and the right of each citizen "to keep and bear arms", our founding fathers recognized the essentially civilian nature of our economy. Although it is extremely unlikely that the fears of governmental tyranny which gave rise to the Second Amendment will ever be a major danger to our nation, the Amendment still remains as important declaration of our basic civilian-military relationships, in which every citizen must be ready to participate in the defense of this country. For that reason, I believe the Second Amendment will always be important.

Assuming JFK, when did he die?

Do you think maybe some things have changed since whenever that date was?

Also, "the 2nd Amendment will always be important" doesn't mean "wild Wild West re: guns at the expense of American lives"

I'm laughing at you. Sorry bout it.

Yet, you continue to duck it, just like Obama and Clinton. Interesting...

No we aren't. I've been waiting for quite awhile for you to address it. You've declined, and we both know why.
