In an effort to keep this nonsense out of the main thread, and also to keep those posts from being deleted, I'm willing to provide beat downs for BamaAtl and her crew, including alters.

For starters, let's talk about the laws that would have prevented this as well as the wonderful crime rates in these foreign countries y'all love to cite.

The reason so many were killed, and the gunman could reload multiple times, is there were no other guns in the vicinity

That's the whole point of criminal behavior. Crimes of opportunity, are the best targets for these irrational people

I recall we once had the same belief about alcohol, ban it entirely. And yet criminals had plenty of it. And city streets turned into war zones because of it. Same thing would happen with a gun ban

Sorry, its just human nature. The strong will survive. Guns just even the odds. And there will never be a perfect society

I say there are no laws that we should ever accept that would have prevented this. Lay out your ideas.

This is why you aren't a very good poster. Having an over inflated opinion of yourself is a dead giveaway.

And I'm as pro second amendment as anybody else as I believe that private citizens should have access to the very same weaponry that federal agencies have.

When it comes to someone who can kill children who are worshipping their God in a church, no law can stop them from committing such an evil act.

The gun control debate should have happened 200 years ago. It’s too late now, we are a gun nation. Nothing can scale it back, just carry with you everywhere you can and try and be a good person. All we can do. As long as people’s adrenaline glands can sometimes become more powerful than their frontal lobes, we will have psychosis. The good guy with a gun killing the bad guy with the gun is a movie script and almost never happens that way, just like the lefts idea of control is a pipe dream. Unfortunately the truth is if someone wants to hurt people, they will.

I could just as easily kill you with a can of Kerosene or a garden trowel

1. Get trained to handle a gun.

2. Always carry.

How successful has it been in Australia since they cracked down after the massacre in Tasmania in the 90's?

It did, and never stopped. That's how we get nonsense like the NFA.

Explain how we implement that in the United States, then we can discuss its successes or failures.

Got a link? Maybe comparing survival rates of armed victims vs unarmed victims of violent crime?
