Chess pieces in the energy dominance game currently in play.

The next 24-36 months will be interesting. We could control 1/3 to 1/2 of the world’s oil supply soon & put us in the drivers seat economically for decades to come. Between oil & AI advancements, the future is bright for the US.

Love or hate Trump, baw is putting in work on the international stage.

These moves are all about fighting back against China. 1 year ago, China was in position to control Venezuelan oil, the Panama Canal and the straight or Hormuz through Iran getting a nuke. All of those moves would’ve given China control over the world’s oil supply and killed the access for the oil to get to our refineries. This would’ve destroyed the petro dollar overnight and would’ve given them the power to invade Taiwan. China has been setting the chess board for years while our country has been asleep. Trump finally woke us up and his fight with China has stirred up all their allies, which is why we are seeing all this pushback.

And you still read posters on this board lamenting that Trump should have ignored all of this and focused on balancing the budget and affordability. People don’t realize how precarious our position was, and still is.

It is the primary achievement of the administration when we extricate ourselves from Iran and ensure the oil can flow.

It could also be what allows us to shift to a new currency backed by a basket of goods which would allow us to wipe the $40T debt / debt service wall we’re about to run into.

I think the issue is that if this was about energy, then nuclear weapons and narco terror were a lie.

To OP's point, though.

It was just as precarious 2017-2021, and he didn’t go to war over it. Which proves it wasn’t the situation, it was, as Rubio clearly said, the US going to war because Israel planned to attack Iran, forcing our hand in the region.

They hand you the reason on a silver platter and you ignore it.

Production and Hormuz transit are at pre-war levels.

The only thing elevating the price now is all the chimping about superficial missile hits on a few of the tankers.
