As many times as it takes.
In 1855 the 34th Congress held 133 votes.
Speculation on my part … they’ll hold one more vote today.

He makes good speeches, but I don't trust him either.

Jordan's speech just now sounded more like a rally for what he would do instead of McCarthy

That's what I made of it also.
AND he is one of the half dozen in DC that I trust.

I think we need Jim on committees.

Absolutely - that is why I'd hoped someone else would come forward. But it looks like the cupboard is bare

Heard this on Bongino today. He said they finally cast a last vote and whomever had MOST votes was the speaker. No majority .. just most votes.

Kinda scary.

A lot of America First patriots think Jordan is too close to Big Tech. I believe I heard he has sided with Big Tech by voting against legislation that would have removed some of Big Tech's regulatory protections via Section 230.

Why? What legislative or political acumen does he bring to the party? It's all about the show isn't it?

yep - the need to get into a private room and knock some heads - keeping this going as it is now is just going to cement more people into positions they'll find hard to negotiate on.

I actually do hope that one of the Trump Republicans gets to be speaker not one of the rinos. I just hope they don’t hold out too long and we end up with a Democrat for speaker there’s always that chance!
